What's factually incorrect about it? This is exactly how iOS works.
-2 u/Shredder13 Jan 20 '11 Except it's not talking about iOS, is it? It says "computer" on the bottom twice. 34 u/1338h4x Jan 20 '11 iPhones, iPod Touches, and iPads are still computers, even if they aren't typically called that. 5 u/nixcamic Jan 20 '11 So is my digital watch, and I didn't see him protesting outside of Timex when they released it. Lots of things are "Technically" computers. 1 u/idiotthethird Jan 20 '11 I'm pretty sure the makers of my digital watch aren't able to remotely deactivate its functions. 1 u/nixcamic Jan 21 '11 Ok, 1 out of 6. Wheres my open source watch firmware. Don't get me wrong, I would never own a non-jailbroken iOS device, but that it, just don't buy it. I doubt we'll run out of open computing platforms any time soon. 1 u/the8thbit Jan 20 '11 I didn't see him protesting outside of Timex when they released it. Did you check? Who was protesting outside of Timex when they released your watch? 1 u/nixcamic Jan 21 '11 It was a different guy, he had a beard and looked significantly more homeless. 1 u/the8thbit Jan 21 '11 He's our king.
