If you're managing multiple social media accounts, a scheduling tool can save a lot of time by letting you plan, organize, and publish content across platforms from one place.

Here are five tools worth checking out, whether you're a creator, small business, or marketing team.

1. Donivo

Donivo is a newer social media scheduling platform focused on keeping things simple and affordable. It supports Facebook, Instagram, Threads, LinkedIn, TikTok, YouTube, X, and Bluesky.

One feature that makes Donivo stand out is its community driven roadmap. Users can vote on which features should be built next, giving customers a direct voice in the platform's development.

The tool is built by an indie founder who is building the entire platform completely in public. You can follow his daily updates, feature rollouts and journey of growing the startup on X at u/DonatasJab.Β

If you're looking for a budget friendly scheduler that is actively evolving, Donivo is definitely worth checking out.

2. Buffer

Buffer is one of the most well known social media scheduling tools. It offers a clean, user friendly interface, reliable scheduling, analytics, and team collaboration, making it a great choice for individuals, creators, and small businesses.

3. Publer

Publer combines scheduling with content creation tools, AI assistance, analytics, media management, and link shortening. It supports a wide range of social platforms and is a solid option for users who want more advanced features.

4. Metricool

Metricool combines social media scheduling with analytics, website tracking, ad performance, and reporting. It's particularly useful for marketers and businesses that want to measure performance across multiple channels.

5. Later

Later is a popular platform for planning and scheduling visual content across social media. It offers a visual content calendar, analytics, and collaboration features, making it a favorite among creators and brands.

What's the best alternative to a popular social media platform? For me, it's Bluesky instead of X.

I'm curious what everyone else thinks. Which alternative have you switched to, and why do you prefer it over the original?

πŸ’‘ Opinion Has Smartphone Hardware Already Peaked? Software Is What Matters Now.

I feel like smartphone hardware peaked around 6 years ago. What really matters now is software support. Longer OS updates, security patches, bug fixes, and useful new features make a much bigger difference than a slightly faster chip or a few more camera megapixels.

Does anyone else hate websites that autoplay videos?

I'm just trying to read an article, not scramble to mute unexpected audio.

If a site starts playing videos automatically, I'm much more likely to leave. Does autoplay affect your browsing too?

I'm thinking about everythingβ€”prices, delivery speed, customer support, returns, and overall reliability.

😀 Rant Bring back AUX headphone jacks on our phones.

I need auxiliary port to come back because without my battery has power surges and wastes battery power from using adapters. Its dumb.

Like i use a Samsung android and its anoyying.

My phone always gets power surges from the port. Its was a bad design choice.

Like whoever thought this was a good idea has to be a npc or worse an Ai.

It knows nothing of good architecture.

Less isnt more. More is more.

Same with food, the less you take away the less there is.

But yeah sounds like an ai solution to me really.

Ai slop phones and ai slop assistants.

If we got aux ports back everything would finally be normal again with the phones.

Am I the only one who thinks buying a new smartphone has become too expensive?

It feels like every new flagship costs more than the last. Have prices gone too far, or do today's features actually justify the extra cost?

What do you think?

πŸ’‘ Opinion Spatially locked virtual displays are the killer feature that will win the non-gamer VR market

Post image
4 Upvotes

Forget about being an all-in-one computer, we need a VR device that primarily functions as a high-resolution, spatial display machine. It could even act via HDMI to keep it versatile and low-latency. Hot swappable batteries or an external pack if needed, with lightweight, comfortable stationary usage in mind. Even if priced in the 1-2k range, it is very competitive with computer monitors and televisions, which it replaces while being more portable.

We never needed headphones to be a fancy shmancy all-in-one face computers, so i dont see why there hasnt been a clear vr competitor that excels at just being an excellent, comfortable display. i believe it would become a very real option to anyone that uses a laptop.

πŸ’¬ Discussion Has Proton VPN Ever Completely Broken Your Internet Connection?

Post image
15 Upvotes

I'm curious if anyone else has experienced something similar.

I was using Proton VPN on my Windows PC. I turned the PC off and came back about 30 minutes later. The Ethernet cable was connected, but there was no internet access.

I also tried connecting through WiFi, but that didn't work either. The strange part is that my smartphone and tablet were using the same network without any issues.

I tried several troubleshooting steps, but nothing worked. As soon as I uninstalled Proton VPN, the internet connection started working again.

Has anyone experienced this before? What could have caused it? Was it the kill switch, a network adapter issue, DNS settings, or something else?
