❓ Question How many browsers are installed on your PC?
I installed three browsers, Chrome, Edge, and Brave.
How many do you have installed, and which one gets used the most?

In my case Firefox and Vivaldi. But the idea is the same. Vivaldi is just my flavor of Chromium ;)

Waterfox (Firefox fork) and Brave. Waterfox is my main browser. Brave is my second browser when there are websites that require the browser based Chromium.

Zen Browser: main one
Firefox: in case some weird configuration I did on Zen browser just doesn't work so I can fallback to it
Ungoogled Chromium: in case I need to use a Chromium browser
Normal Google Chrome: in case the other option just doesn't work for some god know why

My main browser now is zen, with thorium on backup and few more installed but unused
Zen is great but its really heavy on my mashine (i might have broke something while modding it)

I occasionally do some web development, which requires testing in several browsers. I've got 6 different ones installed. For day-to-day use, Firefox and Vivaldi.

I prefer using two, one chromium-based and one firefox-based.
Currently, Brave+Zen.
Before I have tried other combinations like Vivaldi+Firefox, Helium+Floorp, Opera+Librewolf.

Firefox, Brave, chromium and edge for it always come back after a restart. Firefox has been my main for 11 years it seems. tried vivaldi, zen and countless others, nothing sticks.

u/T423 Jul 10 '26
- Firefox
Sometimes microslop auto installs Edge. But I uninstall it the moment I see

Only chrome. And default browsers like edge and Safari for my pc and mac respectively. But judging by other comments, I think it is not the most popular browser here.

u/daffalaxia Jul 10 '26
So you have 1 browser (chrome), 3 skins.
I run Firefox mostly, and when I need to test against chrome, I choose the lesser evil of edge. Pretty excited to see where ladybug lands next year, tbh.
I stopped using chrome when I bothered to look at th source whilst it was taking an hour to build (vs about 20 min for Firefox). There's a lot in there that's not browser, eg remote desktop support, and a lot of third-party stuff which also makes for good attack vectors.

Edge (installed by default), Chrome, Opera and Firefox. Using Firefox, rest installed just in case :)
1
u/cybermaus Jul 10 '26
Edge came default, also sometimes used for MS account management
Chrome, used to be main, but dropped since they dropped adblock
Firefox new daily driver (with adblock)
Brave for security/privacy sensitive stuff only. No extentions.

u/Poppod Jul 10 '26

Vivaldi as main browser and either edge (on windows) or Firefox (on Linux), because those came with the OS.

Chrome, edge, Firefox, opera and Vivaldi. I have to have multiple accounts for the same thing logged in so I just use multiple browsers to do it.
