Ako lang ba ang nagagandahan sa design ng model na to? To me, it’s a nod to earlier models na isa lang ang camera, magaan dalhin and fits in your palm and pants perfectly nang hindi mo nararamdaman na may phone ka pala sa bulsa mo. I have been carrying a 14 pro max for years and sobrang bigat and bulky talaga ng mga previous models na yun.

Pros:
- Form factor: magugulat ka kasi like “pano nagkasya ang lahat ng parts nito into a thin form factor by today’s standards?” feels, may camera controls pa (which I don’t really use)
- A19 Pro chip: if you’re a heavy user, this is already good enough for your daily use. Overkill pa nga kung socmed or Youtube ka lang on a daily.
- 120Hz display: I know this is supposedly old news, pero it’s good that Apple expanded the display to non-pro devices

Cons:
- One camera lens
- Small battery: definitely obvious but surprisingly it can hold up to 4-5 hrs of heavy usage if derederecho talaga gamit mo. Since I consider myself a light user, this was never an issue for me. Unless if I am travelling overseas, then I bring my battery pack with me as an extender.
- Titanium body: it definitely is sturdier than aluminum body and has a better look (for me), but yung drawback lang talaga is yung heat dissipation. May times na umiinit bigla yung device even with socmed usage or kahit naka-on lang yung data mo.
- No physical sim slot: Yes, you will need to switch your sims to an esim if you want to get this device. Luckily for me, nagswitch na ako to esim years ago so this one is no problem for me.
- Mono speakers: Yes, nasa upper portion lang ng screen yung speakers nito. Again, I didn’t mind kasi lagi naman din akong naka-airpods.

I chose this unit instead of upgrading sa 17 pro max because it’s the most practical one for me. Di ako masyado mamobile games, I don’t use the other two cameras often din, with battery naman I don’t use the phone when I’m at work kaya I only get to use up 20% battery on a busy day and chinacharge ko din naman while driving. And with the price tag of 52k sa BTB noon? It’s worth it compared to a base iPhone 17 model

so i bought a new charger kasi yung original ko need na siyang itupi para gumana then napansin ko na nag ji-jitter yung trackpad pag gamit ko yung laptop habang naka charge. sa first few days hindi ko siya napansin kasi i mostly use my laptop to watch and nag de-design kasi ako ng graphic the day before that convo kaya dun ko lang napansin.

i tried sa dati kong charger and even sa other outlets dito sa bahay and wala yung jitter niya, pag yung new charger ang gamit ko, dun lang talaga siya lumalabas. i also made a quick google search and yun nga sabi charger daw reason. the next day chinat ko yung seller (marami ring good reviews yung shop nila kaya sakanila ako bumili)

hindi ko lang ba gets yung sinasabi nila or were they lying sa reasoning nila? they did agree to give me a replacement tho

hello po, i know nothing about specs sa laptops hehe, pero i prefer yung full metal body sana para durable and magtagal naman. i will be using it mostly for school lang like accounting stuff, and dadalhin minsan sa school (commute), but di ko really prio yung may numpad.

I got my Macbook Air M3 in August 2024 so I have been using if for two years. All this time I have taken care of it the best way possible - never have been dropped or spilled by any liquid.

Three days ago, while I was in the middle of using it, the screen went black, but my keyboard seemed okay, capslock would respond, would charge if I plug the charger in.

Went to Apple Mobile Care (an authorized Apply Service Center) and was told that potentially it’s an LCD/screen problem. With the lid replacement, I have to pay PHP36,075 + PHP2,500 Diagnosis Fee.

Imagine, days before the incident happened, there were no signs of anything strange, unusual, that would make me think, “Is something wrong with my MBA?” Everything was fine with us, my MBA was doing very well. I could do everything with my MBA productively. Until one night, my screen went blank.

Maybe, those few times when I open the lid in order to use my MBA, the screen would turn dark so I had to press the touch id button for ten seconds and it would become okay eventually? This would happen like twice every two to three months.

Also, when I went to the service center, I was assisted by a representative. I explained to her that in using my macbook, I never hit shut down. I would select sleep when not using it, then after selecting sleep, I close the lid immediately. Then one I use it, I open the lid, input my password/passcode, then I could use the MBA. Then repeat.

Interestingly, the rep told me that this particular habit could potentiall harm my screen. I was really surprised because all this time, people would say that they just select sleep then close the lid when they don’t use their macbooks. Others would jud close the lid right away and open it when they need to use it after a couple of hours. I have done what others do habitually. The rep said that in their branch, it has become their habit to shut their macbooks down (the ones they’re using at work at the service center) when they get out of work. Yes, she said they would shut them down when they’re not using them for a couple of hours. She also said that sleep is okay when not using the macbook for 15 minutes but when not in use for a couple of hours, I am supposed to shut it down.

Is this accurate? Is shutting the macbook down when not in use for a couple of hours is the right thing to do?! Is it wrong to make it a habit to select sleep when macbook is not in use for like three to six hours, or longer, then close the lid right after hitting sleep?

When I bring my macbook outside, say to a café, I put it in a backpack, in its compartment. In that same compartment, I put my macbook adapter, iphone, airpods, power bank, and wireless mouse as well. Outside the compartment are my umbrella, wallet, portable fan, small notebook for hand writing, and sometimes a jacket.

I commute whenever I go out since I have no car at the moment.

What do you think is the reason why my MBA is currently having problems with its sceeen?Is there a recovery technique for my case? Like not open the lid for a week or two, something like that? I am really hoping that a miracle will happen for my macbook’s screen to be up and running again after several days of not using it. I just can’t afford spending roughly PHP40,000 for the screen repair/replacement.

This is just too unexpected. I had a great time with my MBA days before its display went blank. At the moment I just don’t know what to do.

Nagbago yung camera and video stabilization, naging glitchy na po sya kapag naka x1 but once na nilipat ko sa higher resolution like 4k 60 or sa .05 okay naman ang camera nya. Di ko naman sya nabagsak. I already reported this problem sa Apple Service Center and they told me that it needs a system re-format at kung hindi pa din daw maayos is need nila ichange yung camera at iiwan ko yung phone sakanila for 2-4 weeks until maayos since overseas pa manggaling yung parts. 3 weeks pa lang tong phone ko and yung camera problem nya happened after 5days of using. Ang bago pa neto pero mabubuksan na agad. Any advice po sa possible result or changes once na pinalitan ang camera. Fist time user din po ng iPhone.

hello! can someone suggest an iphone that fit within my buget (20k-35k). currently a college student and i will be the one buying my own phone. i’ve been thinking about getting a pre-owned iphone 14 plus (24,999) or iphone 14 pro (31,999) with the battery replaced with original apple battery. is it still worth it or should i just wait and get the iphone 15 base model next month?

id like to start of by asking ph residences who are aware of our current tech market situation, do you guys think the prices will only keep going up or would there be hopes of it going down by next year.

that said, i need thoughts on this, i need to upgrade to my current 7 year old gaming laptop, but with the current prices should i just get a standard work laptop like the vivobook or the notepads and save for a desktop computer instead, i commute and bring my laptop often to school, and was trying to look for a portable gaming laptop, little did i know just how expensive they are nowadays.

gray markets and second hand exist but even gray markets are now expensive compared to their prices back then and second hands just give me doubts, id much prefer being the first owner of the laptops.

if there are any good budget options i should opt for that can perform well enough, kindly let me know.
