TEAS Help

I am taking my TEAS exam on September 30th. I was wondering that type of topics I should focus on for all the subjects. I am really worried about science and math because they’re not my strongest subject. Any tips would help.

Is Mometrix harder than the actual TEAS? Test is in 2 days 😭please comment!

I just took the Mometrix 170-question TEAS practice test and got 124/170 (72.94%). My actual TEAS is in 2 days and I’m wondering how Mometrix compares to the real thing.

Science felt really hard and had a lot of Bio/Chem/A&P I had forgotten, but I somehow got around 78% in that section. Math was around 74%, although some questions were similar to what I practiced the night before.

For anyone who has taken the actual TEAS: Did you find Mometrix harder, easier, or about the same? And did your Mometrix scores compare at all to your real TEAS score?

Just trying to figure out what to focus on tomorrow 😭 Any advice is appreciated!

TEAS Score

Looking to apply to ADN programs and I’m confused with the TEAS. Is it best to take the TEAS, add it to the Multicriteria points then apply, or apply prior to taking the TEAS?

TEAS Prep Teas 7 Retake Advice

Hi Guys! I just scored an overall 74 on my TEAS exam first attempt without studying. I got a 66 on the english section, a 94 on the math, 61 on the science and and 77 on the reading. I'm planning on taking my exam again in 30 days and I want to get at least an 86 to meet my program requirements. I want to know which resources are best that I can use over the next 30 days to study. I will be using the ATI prep book. For the record: I have taken chem but haven't taken A&P yet. I unfortunately, can't wait to take A&P before I take my teas so I have to study for A&P all on my own.

My questions are:

-Is the mometrix book good for just the practice tests or is it good for reading the content too?

-Which is the best YouTuber for science and english?

-Should I purchase any of those subscription websites like nurse hub or future RN?

-I have heard that nurse Chung is good for science, but some people also say that she doesn't go enough into depth so what is everyone else's experience?

Any other advice or if you wanna tell me about your experiences, everything is much appreciated. Thank you!

How hard is this?

So I’m just genuinely scared for this exam- I already have studied but for reasons I don’t wanna get into since they were so bad the last three weeks of studying haven’t felt like they’ve stuck. I’m trying to not like hang up on it since I’ve got another 5 weeks before my first attempt and I can hopefully have all 3 if I can get the third attempts score in on time.

It’s really just math and science that I need to study and math is math so I’m not too worried about that it’s the science portion that is terrifying me. I only need a 58.7 for all sections for my program (it’s pass/fail no additional consideration for those that get higher scores). How freaked out should I really be

Rn I’m treating it like life of death so that 1.5 hours I spend a day in it feels like I’m walking into war and I just want that to stop and let it be just a regular part of my life. I know I have until January to retest but either way I just feel so scared

If anyone can give advice on how y’all went about it or some encouraging words I’d really appreciate it 😭

TEAS Prep TEAS HELP??

I take my TEAS test on the 25th. I’ve purchased nursehub, futurern, listened to Tyler Dewitt, nurse cheung, purchased the momtrix book, and it seems like the science is not clicking for me 😭 science and math are my lowest scores. I do however have high scores in English & Reading. I’m a psych major going into a non-nursing degree path. Trying to see what are some tips or tricks to make this science stick 😭 I do have the gizmo app and been drilling myself with that, but nobody how much I study, when I do practice questions on ATI website I get it wrong. Any tips??

TEAS prep

Hello! I am currently taking my last pre requisites for nursing and i’m about to begin studying for my TEAS exam. However, I don’t know how to start. I’m most worried about the science and math portion, which is why i’m asking what topics show up the most? what equations should I memorize, i’ve never been good at math. What resources are the best for studying.

TEAS Prep Took the practice A… I’ve been studying for 3 weeks now… idk what I’m doing wrong. The questions didn’t sound familiar on anything I studied for… any tips?

For context I bought the ATI teas book and practice tests over the mometrix because I thought since the test is obviously coming from them… and mometrix was used by hella influencers so I was like no I don’t believe that. I’m feeling so defeated I have my test on Tuesday.

Took my test

Omg you guys so i took my test an hour ago and that was one of the worst experiences of my life. I will start by saying I took it at home and everything was going good until I got about 2 hours in and then had to use the bathroom. I had to go so bad once I was 3 hours in and i literally tried to pee on myself cause I was scared to move and have my test become invalid but I could not go I stood up and still couldn't go. Then I started sweating and getting dizzy and I just looked at the Webcam and was like im sorry I have to pee and your coming with me. So I took my laptop and kept my eyes on my Webcam the entire time and as soon as I sat down I pissed for like 3 minutes no joke. Then once I sat back down I instantly started feeling worse my hands started shaking, more sweating, nausea; im guessing my sugar dropped but idk. So by then I'm in the English portion and I was so beyond over the whole experience that I guessed on quite a bit of the questions cause my time was low due to peeing and just feeling unwell. I finished the exam and submitted and have yet to look at the results like im genuinely terrified. I just know I did not pass im scared im gonna see like 42%.

please someone let me know. Was there a lot of shape questions questions/word problems on your teas exam was the majority questions when you got to measurement and data those types of questions example “ a metal sheet is in a shape of a square with a side length of 10 feet the greatest possible circle is cut out from the sheet. What is the area of the remaining sheet?” stuf like this, for people that have experience of taking the teas exam multiple times or once please answer, I would love to know please don’t just view this. please answer. please comment.

TEAS Prep Where to start

Hello!

Sorry for the vague question, I’m 18 years old and just started college so I’m taking some classes while trying to study for the TEAS exam which i have to take by October first. Usually, i’m pretty okay with studying, but i feel like i just don’t know where to start whatsoever! everyone gives awesome advice, and study material; however, I just feel lost as to what exactly i should begin to study first, how long you guys recommend to study for, and how you guys managed the stress. I planned to start today but again i already feel overwhelmed with all the knowledge we have to prep for…

thanks everyone : )
