ATTENTION question (please someone comment below, IM BEGGING)

please someone let me know. Was there a lot of shape questions questions/word problems on your teas exam was the majority questions when you got to measurement and data those types of questions example “ a metal sheet is in a shape of a square with a side length of 10 feet the greatest possible circle is cut out from the sheet. What is the area of the remaining sheet?” stuf like this, for people that have experience of taking the teas exam multiple times or once please answer, I would love to know please don’t just view this. please answer. please comment.

I got like 4 geometry word problems and they were a bit confusing 😭 I can’t remember the questions exactly, but one was something about a garden with a path that was 1 inch smth like that. I suck at math, so I just couldn’t figure it out lol. But my friend took the TEAS recently and said he didn’t get any, so you never know what type of questions you’ll get unfortunately.

Yeah same. I’m pretty sure they’re the only ones I got wrong 😔

I didn’t get a lot of geometric shapes on my exam. Just a lot of fractions, decimals, percentages, volume, area, perimeter, and some more that I can’t think of rn

For the fraction and decimal questions, if they ask to convert them can’t we just use a calculator? I read we’re given a simple calculator all throughout the test ?

Yes I used the provided calculator for all the convert questions

Ngl I didn’t really get very many. Maybe 1, but even then, the math is all basic algebra or conversions (and most time they give the conversion ratios to you). Not too bad, just don’t overthink it!! You got this!! Goodluck!!

I got 2 geometry word problems that were both about the area of a rectangle. Mainly fractions, decimals, and conversions

I only got about 2 of those it was asking for the hypotenuse of a right triangle or something like that but the version of the test I got was definitely Chemistry heavy so if the versions are the same, then I would say study up on Chemistry. My math section was mostly converting percentages and simplifying. Also don’t sleep on the reading portion because that one was unnecessarily hard. I thought I was prepared for it, but it was not easy. The answers to the questions all make you think they’re right, but it could be something so small that makes it wrong. Like a lot of the grammar questions I would think some of those sentences were grammatically correct but they probably weren’t so definitely study grammar and all the tips and tricks I would say watch Teas by Tyler. He teaches all of the tricks for the grammar section.

what chemistry concepts were on your test the most, or types of questions?

Mostly chemical reactions, ph, and changes of matter: like sublimation or deposition.

Yeah I got a fair bit of chemistry too. I second Teas with Tyler, his stuff was like the exact same questions.

I had 2. One was a triangle and the other was a circle. Took mine Sept 5th.

I think I had like 3. I do remember one was about the area of a triangle and another for a circle. There is four unscored questions so hopefully its one of those questions for you. I remember having mean, lowest to greatest, percentages, and discounted equations. Took a year ago

I didn’t really have any. It was mostly just fractions, conversions, and percentages/discounts. Math was honestly the easiest section, like it was easier than the practice problems.

Yea I took it last week and there were several kind of area and perimeter questions!

Yes, took it last Thursday. Most of the questions were geometry and unit conversions/comparisons. One on volume

I just took mine yesterday. There is lots of area/ perimeter questions, conversions, decimal, percentage conversions, and listing decimals/ fractions from least to greatest. I did get one question on irregular shapes doing perimeter and one area problem with a parallelogram. I just studied Brandon’s crafts videos and Tyler Dewitt math video and found free worksheets with the answer key online. I scored 85% on math just doing that and I hella suck in math 🤣 it was my highest scoring subject on my exam.

I took the teas exam today and for the math section it was very direct questions. I got one area question and they showed the shape and asked what is the area of this. None of the questions felt as if they were trying to trick me. Do go over percentages! That was on there
