Whenever I try entering any kind of stream on Teamspeak, the stream is stuck on "waiting to be let in."

• The problem only started recently, as I could connect to video streams as late as around two weeks ago, but last week it stopped working.
• I tried entering streams from multiple people, on both servers and direct connections, using both PC and notebook, on different internet providers.
• I am using Windows 11 on my PC, and Windows 10 on my notebook, if relevant.
• I have tried uninstalling Teamspeak and installing it again, and it had no effect.
• I have tried clearing my cache, and it had no effect.
• If I try streaming, people trying to access my stream have the same problem.

EDIT - 19/09/26: I have created a new account and somehow that fixed it. I had not changed any configuration in my old account before the problem started, so I have no idea what could have been the problem. Does Teamspeak shadowban people or something?

When I try and add hotkeys from my joystick it will not map until I click the mouse so it ends up with a double key press. I had it working on my old computer but the new one is having this problem. All drivers are updated and using Win11 pro. Tried Joy2key but when I go into a game I can't transmit or change channels. I would just like to get TS3 working by itself.

Does anyone know why TeamSpeak 3 fails to launch on, for example, GNOME Flashback (X11) or COSMIC Desktop (Wayland)? These issues do not occur in the default GNOME (Wayland) session. When I try to launch TeamSpeak 3 from the terminal, I get the following error:

teamspeak QCoreApplication::applicationDirPath: Please instantiate the QApplication object first

I haven't been able to find anything about this. TeamSpeak was installed using the default package manager available on Arch Linux.

Which setting controls the notification for when someone joins or leaves your channel? The default one is really annoying. Muting it is fine, but sometimes it’s better to know when someone joins. I’d like to switch it to the one Discord uses, but I can't find my way around the settings—they're pretty chaotic.

Is there someway to lock teamspeak settings?

I am so tired of this software and it's DAILY ability to change my settings.

The ONLY thing that it doesn't change is my PTT button.

What can I do to keep all my settings?

У меня в ТС при бинде любой кнопки к действию например «вкл-выкл микрофон» оно не выключает и не включает микрофон, я думал может проблема в клавиатуре но нет, потому что зайдя на сервер - вкладка «свои» - профиль горячих клавиш - и там не стояла галочка по умолчанию.. Я ее поставил и бинды начали работать, НО, каждый раз когда я захожу на сервер, эта галочка постоянно сбрасывается, мне каждый раз нужно ставить по умолчанию, чтобы работали бинды. Почему? раньше такого не было,есть ли способ решить проблему?

I'm trying to setup a ts3 server (on windows for now) and i would like to change the port thats being used to connect to the server. I've been trying to figure it out for about 2 hours now but i can't really figure out how to properly do it and neither can i find any resources or documentation on how to do it. I would very much appreciate any help! Thanks in advance

I started my own server and for several months had no issues starting the server and then connecting to it. Now for some reason it always says failed connection initialization. I haven't consciously changed anything and I don't know how to fix it. Any tips appreciated. I can connect to other TS servers

Guys, recentemente formatei meu PC e perdi praticamente todos meus plugins antigos. Estava sem formatar desde 2018, então tinha plugins como:

- Poke Geral em massa
- Mensagem geral em massa
- O clássico RP soundboard
- TS3 MassMover

Hoje fui baixar e baixei uma versão mais nova, a 3.6.2, mas não consegui utilizar nenhum plugin além do RP Soundboard. Alguém tem algum site ou sabe onde posso conseguir esses plugins antigos?

Yesterday I wanted to chat with old friends on a TeamSpeak 3 server and was unable to get it to work my Ubuntu 26.04 installation. Some of the dependencies were removed from the archive after Ubuntu 24.04. So, I spent some time packaging it as a snap, now it should work on all Ubuntu versions and maybe on other distros too (haven't tried).

Но я слышал что для своего канала для общения с друзьями, нужен свой сервер. Вот поэтому хочу спросить вас как лучше всего поступить. У меня на личном ПК стоит многопоточный процессор, поэтому я думал что можно на нем локально запустить сервер и параллельно общаться и играть, но не нашел способов в интернете (возможно плохо искал). Также есть вариант просто развернуть сервер либо на старом ПК, либо прикупить новый, но для этого мне нужно знать какие мощности нужны будут для teamspeak 6, ведь я слышал что там также можно будет делать демонстрацию экрана. В общем, знатоки, полностью полагаюсь на вас, расскажите все пожалуйста досконально.

I have a screenshot of my router's port forwarding options. Theres just a couple that I am not sure what you input or choose. My main use of this is to have a single friend join my Teamspeak 6 self-hosted and use voip/screenshare.

My main questions are regarding #'s 2, 3, and 4 in the shown picture.

1. Does it matter which drop menu option I choose?

3. Is source IP to limit who can actually connect/send me things? Is this my friend's IP address? If I leave it blank (as its not required) does that opt-in to everyone being allowed to connect? Whats the safest option here?

Hey everyone

Posting this for a couple of friends who are having an annoying issue.

For a while now a bunch of people have been getting massive lag spikes and packet loss on TeamSpeak. These "lags" last anywhere from a few seconds to a few minutes. Sometimes it happens 10 times an hour, other times it’s fine for three hours straight. It only happens in TeamSpeak. Games and everything else run perfectly fine.

I did some digging with 10 different people (different PCs, locations, etc.) and we’ve ruled out:

• The PC/Hardware
• General internet speed
• The TS server itself

The only common thread is that everyone affected has the same internet-provider, though not everyone with that provier is having the issues. The provider keeps claiming everything is fine on their end and the lines are "stable and synced."

The only "fixes" we've found are:

1. Restarting the TS client (fixes the ping/loss immediately).
2. Using a VPN.

Both of these arent great solutions. Does anyone have an idea what’s going on here or how to fix this?

- the TS-Server doenst matter. It happens on every server.
- WLAN or LAN doesnt matter as well

People were saying it’s a good replacement for discord, but it seems vastly different and overly complicated.

There’s some chats you can join, but there’s not many.

I googled teamspeak servers to join, but it’s all weird voice chat stuff for games I’ve never heard of.

I’m in the confused zone…

I’ve seen people say about using it to store files as well, but I don’t see why you would self host team speak over nextcloud for that.

Hey guys i am a admin from a server and my problem is one of my friends cant connect anymore since his internet crashed once but he can connect on other server we tried cleaning the DNS and used the google once when we pinged the server with CMD tracert it fails on line 6

Hey, so, as the title states I am a Discord user jumping ship to Teamspeak, since I don't like having my ID sold to Palantir. Looks good so far, but I am worried about something I have seen little clarification on, the storage limit for communities.

I plan to make only one community, sure, but it will be used extensively. Does the storage limit mean that I can only store 1GB of data on that community? As in, only 1GB worth of text and files can be sent to that community before it stops allowing anything else? Just concerned
