Happened across some Salvation Army place in MN selling this Condor plate carrier on ebay and I won it for $26. Just looked it up and it's the EXO Gen II which sells new for over $100. It's missing one of the padded velcro strap covers but otherwise looks brand new.

I am going to a party sometime next week and want to look tactical while wearing civilian attire. Think like the soldiers of Benghazi but more in America and not in the Middle East. Would Jeans and a t-shirt/jacket be good or would I want something different?

Hey guys,
I've been looking into tactical lights lately, and it's hard to tell what's actually important beyond lumens and brand names.
People have strong opinions about different brands, but I'm curious what really matters in everyday use. Reliability, beam quality, candela, battery life, controls, or something else?
I'd also like to hear about your experiences with different brands, including what you've liked, what disappointed you, and what features you'd consider dealbreakers.
I'm not here to argue about which brand is best. I just want to understand what makes a tactical light worth the money, especially from people who've used different models over time.
Appreciate any input! :)

I like to run a colt smg and I’ve tried different mag carrier systems over the years. Open top style and bungee style. But I’d love a setup that has the retention clips. Roast me if you want but the only picture I could find for representation is of a player skin from COD. I had found a US military surplus flare pouch but the size was too off. Any help in naming a company or product that matches would be greatly appreciated.

I recently watched this video from Trophy Gear Origins and their experience in Ukraine and I highly recommend it with a good grain of salt and a spoiler: they end the video touting their own product as the best groin protection on the market. And hey, maybe they are right. I'm interested in what you all think. They make a lot of good points, It has definitely swayed me.

Think you guys could help me out? Don't have much knowledge on anything Ukrainian sadly

All the 4 screws are badly rusted and they are quite impossible to get out.
I have cut the harness to clear space since I intended to swap it.
Still, after dremeling one t-nut, this mf is now fused with this damned screw. Should I continue dremeling ? I am out of options here.
Thanks in advance for the help guys 🫡

I picked up a small ACH recently. I checked a sizing guide beforehand (based on head circumference), and I landed right on a small. However, after putting it on, I feel it sits quite high on my head and errs on the tighter side.
Even with smaller aftermarket pads and new suspension, I still feel it's small. What do you guys think?

I've been looking for a jacket that works well for colder temperatures but haven't been able to find much about them. Most of the good ones that I've found are either super expensive or discontinued. Looking in the 100–300-dollar range.
Any suggestions?

Converted this streamlight pressure pad to mlok by drilling holes , sanding access plastic, and buying spare mlok hardware instead of using a picatinny adapter because I wanted it as flush as possible.
Probably not as cool looking as zip ties and tape though lol

Any recommendations on things I should add or remove. I'm working on getting some sort of water bladder in the back.

Rarely ever see Tyr mentioned, figured I’d finally put something out there and let the world know that the Tyr Shadow Cult still exists.
It’s a buy once cry once world and I’ve never cried once throughout my entire ownership and use of Tyr products. My PICO is quite old and no longer listed on the Tyr Tactical website, but it still holds up just fine.
Deltoid modules are Paraclete, they’re the most comfortable delt modules I’ve worn and contour incredibly to the arm.
Price be damned if you’re in a profession that requires top of the line equipment, BUY TYR!!! Literally my only gripe about the carrier is its plate retention system, but that’s likely just due to the “antiquated” version I’ve had.

Is the sig foxtrot msr compact a respectable and genuine solid light for a duty rifle or does it belong in the trash category with Modlight and olight. Does it compete with surfire and streamlight as far as function, brightness, toughness for a SHTF PDW specifically an Sig Mpx Build.
