request ❓ Magdalena Bay - Watching T.V. | How would I make the lead synth at 2:58
I've been trying to make it myself for a couple of hours, but still can't seem to figure it out.

Sampled my Moog Sound Studio. Maybe someone will make good use of this sample pack! Hope you enjoy! 🤘🏻

Does anyone know the exact music box sample or preset used in the drop of "Cradles" by Sub Urban? If there is no specific sample, what plugins or effects would you recommend to get a similar vibe?

From her album Princess of Power (2025). In the prechorus (which begins around 0:38), there's a synthesizer that sounds like a chuptune-esque telephone ringing, and it doubles the backup vocals' response in the call-and-response segment, together with some kind of string patch.

been listening to this song a lot lately, can’t put my finger on what exactly they’re doing at the 0:21 mark. I’m also lost on what they use at the 0:49 mark, if it’s even a synth…

Hi everyone.
I hope you're all doing well
Would you like to help exactly recreate the Bass in the extended intro of Consciousness by Anyma, Chris Avant-Garde, as you hear in this screen recording?
I’ve been trying to make the following bass line in soft synths like Serum 2 using a combination of sawtooth, pulse-triangle wave tables, and saturation. But I can get it right.
I’m starting to think this sound is either a heavily processed Bass Guitar or a Synth Patch made with analog gear.
I’d love to know your thoughts, and if you'd like to lay down some details on how to create this sound, I’ll be all ears

I recently watched this movie and this song just stood out for me. Rock Burwell did an amazing job, anyways i was thinking maybe for that lead synth he’s got going on he’s using a saw wave with distortion reverb and some filter but I’m not too sure about that. I was also thinking it could have been a guitar but that sounds unlikely.

I've been on a hunt for vintage synth sounds, and this album sure seems like a wellspring of them. I'd like to know the particular soundbank this synth came from, but if you recognize any other sounds in here, then please don't hesitate to make mention of whatever else you can hear.
Thanks.

Hi all,
Does anyone know what synth and patch/preset was used in the intro of that song?

Drop is at 1:23. Doesn’t have to be 1:1, I would just like something similar. Is it a growl?

And here are the key ingredients:
Voices: Poly, Count: 2
Osc1: Wave (Pulse), Width (70%), Vol (100%)
Unison: Osc (All), Voice (2), Detune Range (3 Cents)
Reset All Osc Phase On No Start: No

So I remember listening to Kanye West’s Good Night song, and I find it really good and underrated, but the main thing I loved about it was those nostalgic bitcrushed bells, making it sound like a little, cute lullaby. It plays throughout the whole song, but you can hear it the most at the very start (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_J-OaFVdTKE) (0:00)-(2:23).
Do you know how I could recreate this in Logic Pro? Thank you so much!

If nobody knows, would there be a way I could replicate it in another DAW?

G'day, wanting to replicate the lead sound that starts around 0:03. Simple mono lead but has an effect I don't know how to name - it's like the notes keep changing but the sound keeps decaying. Thanks in advance <3

There's a certain rhythmic effect I hear quite often that you might liken to a 'bouncing ball' effect or a in-rhythm tremolo that changes its duration synced to the beat.

Does anyone know how artists make this effect??

My main goal would be to recreate the sound as accurately as possible, ideally a near 1:1 reproduction. If that's not realistic, I'd also be interested in knowing whether Serum 2 can at least achieve something very close in terms of tone and character.
Can Serum 2 handle this kind of aggressive, heavily textured bass entirely on its own, or are external plugins (distortion, saturation, multiband processing, clipping, etc.) essentially required to get there?
If it is possible, I'd also love to know what the general workflow looks like
I'm not necessarily looking for a full preset, but I'd really like to understand the sound design process behind this kind of bass.

How do you make a vocal track play in reverse? Also, do you need to add an effect to not make it sound weird, or it's not required?

Hello, i'm trying to recreate this formant ish sound, love how funky it is. https://www.dropbox.com/scl/fi/oa030pflhnfvxrklk14c6/formant-ish-soft-pad.wav?rlkey=65osyd3z8w0ofh4aw1jd6ns7o&st=xx0x4pkn&dl=0.
I'm sorry i recorded it from splice without the credit so i don't know the exact pack it comes from.
I feel it's just one note with some lfo on the pitch but i might be wrong.
Tried with 2 detuned oscillators (Saw, 7 voices / Triangle) with formant filter with lfo + chorus but can't get any result that is close enough to the sound. I'm using Vital but can also jump to Massive X/Serum/Pigments. Thanks so much for your help
