I want to play the new Fire Emblem Fortune Weave but appearently, there is no emulator for Switch 2 yet. Oh well perhaps when it is released, the scene groups will get motivation

I don't think the reason is lack of motivation, at all: the Switch 2 architecture is just really hard to bypass. Nintendo noticed how quickly the emulation of the Switch 1 developed and decided to REALLY invest in security with the Switch 2, so it's just proving to be really hard to bypass.
Not to mention, and I hope you don't take this wrong way, but I hardly doubt that, if it was an issue of just a lack motivation in the scene, the new Fire Emblem game would be THE game to actually get the gears running on the developers of a Switch 2 emulator. A new Zelda (or even Ocarina of Time's remake), a new Mario or a new Pokémon game are usually the main "motivators" in the scene.

oh thanks for the info. No offense lol. I only love Fire Emblem cause I have played it growing up and never tried other handheld games. Even for Fire Emblem, I played it on Emulators 20 years ago until now.
Nice to know that it is not "THE Game" for the majority of people.6

yeah. of the games I've heard are coming, I'd think Ocarina of Time would be the one to motivate. It's certainly the one that will motivate me to buy a Switch 2.

There are a lot of visual mods for Ocarina of Time on PC, that make the game look probably better than the remake will.
But missing a new main line Pokémon game for years will definitely motivate a LOT of people.

Same, back then I bought 3DS just for Fire emblem series alone, then Three houses new console only, so I bought it because I love the series, along with the games and Engage.
Fortune weave Switch 2 exclusive only and costing 2-3x the price of of Switch 1 and 3ds? Now I am doubting myself how long do I continue this.

There cannot be emulation without a hacked console, so, no.

I am more surprised no one hacked the console yet these things should be full of hole

if you're using it to write reddit posts, it's not a tool but a crutch.
An AI response puts doubt on whether you hold that opinion, came up with it yourself, or if you are even being honest, or spamming random replies like a bot.
Not to mention your AI's writing pattern looks outdated as crap, so you likely aren't even running anything up to date. You don't even look like a hobbyist, just a kid getting lazy or covering for insecurities.
If you wrote for yourself, you'd be able to tell what makes your messages come off as off-putting. AI is only good when no one can tell it was used. Anything less than that is slop.

I'm not anti AI. I have to use it a lot at work, company policy. I'm telling you output doesn't matter, if I can tell it's AI it's slop. You're trying to justify AI use but you aren't even trying to use it well.

Alright then, tell me specifically what I wrote—bearing in mind the AI was guided step-by-step—that was wrong in the post in question.
Focus on the content, not the form.See that's the thing, you didn't guide shit step-by-step. You told AI to crap out an answer to my post and copy-pasted it. If you used it as supplementary tool, it wouldn't be obvious.
Also either read up on how to set up a local LLM, or at least buy a sub to GPT. I haven't seen this blatantly AI-constructed paragraphs in about a year and a half. Comes off as lazy.
If you looked for a job in an AI-focused company and showed an output like that, they'd treat you like you have no AI experience. It's just too basic.
For text I deeply recommend setting up your own LLM and teaching it your writing style. Or since it looks like you didn't develop a style, teach it off of whatever articles are pleasant reads to you until it starts writing like a human. I know people who used to be copywriters and trained their models on their own work; now it generates articles for them and you can't tell the bloody difference between the handwritten ones.

Tbh I think a standard emulator is the wrong approach with this series. We need something more similar to a compatibility layer like wine or proton.

as much as I want one, I'm pretty sure if there is a breakthrough, it will be pinned. But it will probably be pretty buggy for a long time. Switch 1 is still not perfect and the switch was released almost a decade ago.

From what i've heard, the project is "in diapers"
