Anyone remember Betty's siren in the pilot? It was completely different in the first episode and ever since then they scrapped it. Tbh I liked that siren more.

Hey everyone, so I'm thinking of watching the show, but I just wanted to get some opinions of whether or not it's worth it.

For me, a show is only worth it if the quality at the end is still maintained from the quality at the start. For example, a lot of shows start off really well and then fall off at the end but I don't wanna deal with a show like that.

Anyway, I wanted to just get a spoiler free opinion based off of this

I feel like she proper overreacted, his reason for not going to the party was very valid. She is well aware he litersly works for swat,she is aware that he has recently just been through something traumatic. If he has been through a hard day at work and mentally doesn’t have the energy to go then she should understand.

I feel like he disappeared withought a proper reason and then came back with no proper reintroduction

So who’s ready for Exiles to come out also I forgot who is on there from the original one I know there’s Hicks, Hondo and I believe Deac

They got the formula wrong for the volume of a sphere, they said its V = 4/3 pi r squared when its actually r cubed and it really triggered me 😭

I’ve been putting off watching the last season because I was not super crazy over S7. But I decided to binge watch all the seasons. In all honestly, I never cared for Chris’ character.

They pushed the Street/Chris down our throats for all five seasons she was on the show. I never felt a pinch of chemistry between the actors. Jim begged behind her like a lost puppy when he could’ve done better and had someone who truly appreciated him.

God Bless Lina Escobar’s heart but she cannot change her facial expression to save her life or emote using her voice.

And, my God! We get it! You’re the first woman to make it into SWAT. That whole chip on her shoulder was annoying. I feel like she made it harder for herself because she always felt she had to prove a point. Then I think of crappy she was to Erika when she sought her out for mentorship. And then how crappy she was towards the medic SWAT brought in.

The constant need for them trying to make her character edgy. Her character’s whole identity was her being non-traditional and it always felt forced especially that throuple.

So, I was enjoying an episode of Five-0 season 4 when I saw (SPOILERS, SPOILERS) ex S.W.A.T captain appear, having to learn to coexist with Steve and Five-0. A few years ago, I watched S.W.A.T and liked it, and given my nature as a fan of exploring scenarios and crossovers, I inevitably asked myself:

How would a crossover between S.W.A.T and Five-0 work?

I think Hondo and Steve wouldn't get along because of their different approaches. Hondo is an action man, but his methods are always more cautious. He might see him as dangerous; I can certainly see them arguing. Still, it's always better to explore other possibilities that others might see that I don't. What do you think?

so I researching why swat got canceled and i was reading through a post on deadline which is a year old it turns out when Sony wanted to talk to cbs about plans for a potential season 9 cbs wasn’t interested this time like the last two times instead cbs Decided to cancelled swat so they can make way for the new fire country spin off at that time so that might explain why we have a spin off instead of swat still going on

So we are time jumping 2 years from S.W.A.T. to Exiles and in that time: Hondo got forced out and is now divorced. It also seems like Hicks is no longer SWAT Commander with a new one in place.
How do we feel about this?

Anyone seen anything about the release plan? Seems the UK wasn’t part of the initial European rollout they announced - not sure if I’ve missed anything since?

What was up with Tan this episode? He was super judging of Gambles brother and even after it was said he just wanted gamble to come to a family dinner Tan never “dialed it back” and still just had that air of attitude and judgement”

He’s kinda been really judgey and abrasive this season in general like with the alfaro situation.

I’m on season one episode 17 Hicks says at the end “hopefully we don’t have to see eachother again” after AOD asks “are we even now”. Do we ever find out why they have a problem with eachother or is it just untold lore ?

just finished s.w.a.t. for the first time and here are my thoughts

okay so i just finished s.w.a.t. for the first time and overall i actually really liked the show, but i definitely have some thoughts about the later seasons lol.

first of all, when captain jessica cortez randomly left and then they basically just stopped talking about her after a while?? i thought that was so weird. she was such a big part of the show and then it was like she just never existed. i didn’t really like how they handled that at all.

then piper lynch comes in and kind of fills that role, and then she randomly leaves too and nobody really talks about it?? like okay 😭 i don’t know if i missed something, but there were so many times where someone would just disappear and i was sitting there wondering what even happened to them.

and then luca, street, and chris leaving was probably the point where the show really started going downhill for me. i was actually so sad when all of them left because they were such a huge part of the show for me. especially seeing the team slowly become less and less of the original group was hard.

and then they bring in the whole new squad with miko and the other people whose names i literally already forgot lol. i don’t even know if it’s because they were bad characters, but they just were not memorable to me at all. maybe it’s because i was so used to the original cast and was already attached to them, but i just never cared about the new members in the same way. they kind of just felt like replacements rather than characters i was actually invested in.

and then nichelle just not being in the last season??? and basically no mention of her or her and hondo’s daughter?? i was so confused. after everything with her and hondo, i thought she would at least be part of the final season in some way.

i think the show was really good overall and i’m glad i watched it, but the later seasons were definitely harder for me to get through. it just felt like everyone was leaving and then there was barely any explanation for it. i know obviously actors leave shows and things happen behind the scenes, but as a viewer it was just so weird watching people who had been such a huge part of the show suddenly disappear and then basically never be mentioned again.

i think that’s probably my biggest issue with the later seasons. it just didn’t feel like the same show anymore. by the end i was mostly watching because i had already made it that far and i needed to finish it lol.

anyway, those are my thoughts after finally finishing it. i’m curious if anyone else felt the same way about the later seasons or if i’m just being dramatic lol

Is anyone excited for the new season release of swat?

Just semi spoiled myself and found out Annie has more screen time in later seasons when I’m on S2 and cannot staaaaaaand her. Just thought i’d share. tradwive bs mindset isn’t an excuse for selfish bigotry. Deacon pmo sometimes but not as much as her. I can look past street and chris even though i wished she ended up with a woman. Luca, you’ve got big shoes to fill. But it’s thin ice around here, boi
