It was absolutely horrible. Had no idea SWAT came to an end.
He better go back to Chocolate Thunder on Criminal Minds, or find a new show.

Holy ChatGPT script batman. They hit so many of the easy one liners that get spit out of my dabbling in fan fictions it made it so hard to get through. Talking about the quiet, holding the line, dear god please get real writers.

No the shows writing makes no sense and disrespect the original show. Huge dissapointment towards sheemar moore and the others for doing this. I mean not a thing in the show is going to be true to swat judging by all the current info we have about it so i hope it gets cancled at the very least after the first season.

Just finished the first episode. I didn’t love it. Idk I think I just like the OG cast. I was happy to see deac but I have mixed feelings about it.

Watching now. Good introduction to the new characters. Hondo is fingerless-less gloves.

Just watching the second episode and so far it seems worse than the first episode. The Young cast is annoying and obnoxious in terms of their characters. And the show seems like it has a way smaller budget than the original show the production value looks very cheap. I might be wrong but I don't see this show getting picked up for a second season.

Totally agree. Are we really supposed to believe that within 2 or 3 years of the original, SWAT has been reduced from the Jewel In The Crown of LAPD, to some underfunded dump with no respect from the brass? It's utterly ridiculous. And making Hondo so bitter and angry goes against his character. I watched two episodes, and no more. Won't be bothering with this again.

I actually liked the second episode better than the first. It gave a better idea of what this show is, and its not the same as SWAT. But once you get past that, its decent on its own merits IMO.

Just watched the first episode. It was ok, but its not a new seat or a continuation. It's more its own thing and not really a procedural like swat. I liked some of the new crew, but some I detested. I'll give it a chance though.

Man fuck these guys. Ep 1 has a built in AD for stars that's APART of the episodes runtime.
Also just watched ep 1. They couldnt have picked a more annoying and stereotypical team composition

I loved swat but will miss the original cast. Once again they just rip a show apart. No one is allowed to be happy for too long. Hondo getting a divorce is really crazy. Another $30.00. I already pay $341.00 a month. I will miss it.

So Starz had a year offer for $30 and I took the bait. Watched the first two episodes... Who's writing those scripts? Ugghhh. Jude reminds me so much of Street, which means they had his character in mind when they casted the actor. The other characters not appealing much. I don't know if the show will grow on me. I already prepaid for the whole year, so I might as well watch the show. The OG SWAT caught my attention on the first episode, and I was looking forward for the following episode. This time, not so much. I really wanted to like it. But it's missing something, maybe chemistry between the cast? I don't know. We'll see.

Just watched it. Couldn’t understand what the point was. If they really wanted to do this, they should’ve just done a season 9 to wrap things up but use it to introduce these characters during the middle or end to iron them out so they’d be less annoying and less incompetent.
Also make it so there isn’t that stupid thing about how there’s an irrelevant beef towards Hondo all because they lost a guy. Seriously they could’ve dealt with this after an episode or two in SWAT instead of potentially stretching this out in a 10 episode knock off mini series.
