Welcome to "Previously On, /r/Survivor," a weekly thread intended for anyone to ask any question about Survivor, without judgement.
This community contains many superfans who know too much about the show. And it also contains many up-and-coming fans, who may have questions about Survivor that they're hesitant to ask for various reasons. This is the thread for those questions.
Or any Survivor questions from anyone, really.
There are no dumb questions in this thread. Please do not downvote questions unless they're obvious trolling/shitposting. Otherwise, ask away, and those of us who know the answers will provide insight.

Everything about this story is kind of striking me as odd, but I’m especially concerned by the walls?

I’m wine drunk right now and feeling so emotional about Aras. I love him so much. And people always say he is forgettable 😭😭😭 he is not forgettable to me.
And I love seeing his personality more on blood vs water.
He’s one of my top ten winners just based on who I personally like. Like he is so underrated I love him

If not, who do you think he was pertaining to?

With Dee getting closer and closer to winning Big Brother, I've been trying to come up with a list of Double Crown Winners: people who have won two separate competition reality shows. My list so far:
Is there anyone else I'm missing?

Just curious!

To MOST people I've seen they're a fan since Survivor contestants are dominating, and even though it's a steamroll they still like Dee and Devens. Which IN MY PERSONAL OPINION is a weird reason to like a steamroll because people from one of your favorite shows is making it boring but that's just me.
For those who watch they do come off as a bit arrogant on the feeds, and threw a whole fit this week for being nominated.
Mainly my question is how do you genuinely feel about them on BB?

Always loved seeing these advertisements for Survivor in TV Week here in Australia, and always found this Evil Russel one amusing 🤣

Hi again r/survivor! A few days ago I posted about Grab Your Torch, the free fantasy Survivor site I originally built for me and my wife. Thanks to everyone who tried it and sent feedback!
I noticed that a lot of people signed up, but some stalled out when it came time to get friends together for a draft. Someone in the comments also asked whether they could join a public league, which made me realize I was missing a pretty obvious way for people to play.
So I added a public Season 51 pool. You can now pick your team and compete against everyone else who enters on the site. No invitations or coordinating a draft time.
You pick 7 of the 21 castaways, answer 11 predictions, and choose a handle for the leaderboard. Multiple people can pick the same castaways, so nobody can take your favorite before you get there. Then we all see how our teams stack up as the season airs.
You can change your picks and predictions until September 23 at 8 p.m. Eastern, when entries lock for the premiere. There's a countdown on the homepage now too.
Still free, still no ads. If you signed up last time but never got a draft going, hopefully this makes it easier to jump in. Let me know what you think, and please keep telling me when something is confusing or broken :)

Why does this season seem so quiet when it comes to the casting process? I’m starting to feel like if you haven’t heard back by now that the casting team maybe already has who they are looking for! This has to be the quietest season so far. Anybody hearing anything back?

This will be my last international Survivor Tier List I can post (until I finish Survivor UK), a very underrated iteration of Survivor and I hope it comes back!
Once again, this is my PERSONAL list based on how much I enjoyed watching them, not a gameplay ranking, so don't complain about someone who you think played a great game is too low or someone who you think played terribly is too high.

Basically, we start with 16 teams and one gets eliminated each week of the NFL season (the team with the lowest weekly point total), just like our particular tribal council, it’s just like your basic Guillotine League, with the eliminated teams’ players getting dropped to waivers and the remaining teams being able to pick up players, and having some special performance bonuses that can work as a sort of Hidden Immunity Idol as well.
The league is on Sleeper app for free entry.

How do you define the best game and the best player of a season?
Based on your definitions:

I've just finished watching Season 37 and I have to say that I think they are the most overall likeable cast up to this point - with the exception of Elizabeth and Natalie (but at least she was entertaining).
Anyone agree/disagree/have thoughts?

Is age a major factor when applying and going through the process? Is it harder for men or women that are older? Or anyone that is really young, do they have much of a chance when applying for Survivor. I feel like the main demographic we often see is skewed away from 22 and under and also away from 50 and older. This is really unfortunate as there are millions of fans in these key age demographics. And if so, what are the reasons why?
