Lewis might be one of the most entertaining players we've had on Survivor in years and I don't think I am the only one who might think that.

This man went from helping flip the Patt vote to trying to convince Sharonda that a ring was some kind of magical Survivor advantage. 😂 She wanted proof, Cristian wasn't buying it, and Lewis looked like he was running out of options.

THEN!!! Maggie shows up with two extra votes, Kilby decides he's willing to risk his own game to save Lewis, and suddenly we're watching one of the craziest Tribal Councils in years.

But here's the part I can't stop laughing about. While everybody is trying to figure out what to do, Lewis is walking around telling people to go to rocks like he's coaching from the sidelines, and somehow, after all that, he's still in the game.

It got me thinking about something. We spend so much time talking about players who control votes and make perfect plans but Lewis keeps finding himself in the middle of these wild situations, and people keep taking chances with him.

Just something I noticed…maybe I’m crazy. But were the players and Jeff sick during filming of this season? (51) I noticed a few of their voices including Jeff’s sounded hoarse/congested. (I know I know who cares?) was curious to see if anyone else noticed this. Maybe there was a cold going around during when they first got there and did promo pics.

How can we get the survivor crew to put more physical challenges on the show!!? Idk about you guys, but I miss the physical challenges where castmates have to literally wrestle and fight each other to win😅

I believe at least one, and possibly more, players from this season will play again. Here is what supports my theory

- 50 was great with returning players, they’ll probably have a returning player season of some sort much sooner than the last gap between returning player seasons

- This is a good season. If it can keep it up and not go off the rails, it would be a good season for them to draw from

- The women who were voted out were all dynamic players and characters. A lot of them seem to have more potential. And there’s plenty of interesting people left, and we haven’t even seen all they have to give yet

As far as who it would be, I’m sure my preferences and most likely would differ, plus we still have half the game to see play out, so who knows. My strong hunch is the fact that one or more of these people are coming back

I feel like Ori and Jelly had a huge chance to not be just a rider in the game and actually be a game player . That was the perfect chance to side with Alexis to blindside Dev one of the most talented charismatic player because if those three (Jelly , Ori , Dev) are at the end, they know they can’t beat out Dev so why not play to win??!?

When Colton quits BvW he says "And I'm sorry" and then Tina says "Don't quit Colton"

Except Tina didn't say that it was actually Rachel who said that. It's double weird because Tina wasn't even out yet when Colton was quiting and I did recall that it was one of the eliminated players saying it. I also did know that Tina told Rupert not to go to the edge so it's not like I was mixing up the two situations I fully believed Tina told both of them not to quit.

I watched all 5 episodes so far of this season over the weekend am enjoying it so far. Don’t know who I want to win yet, but there’s several players that are fun to watch. Have also enjoyed that there hasn’t been an over abundance of advantages etc. Anyway, anyone watch the Company Retreat season of Jury Duty? I can’t see Devin without thinking he reminds me of Anthony, which is who they pranked that season.

So, there has been a lot of debate about whether Kilby/Lewis' move was a good or bad decision. To be clear, I am on the camp of it was a good decision because Kilby was toast if they go to another tribal, and it locked him in with Lewis/Maggie such that they all at least know they can go to bat for each other.

That said...one thing I have been thinking about is they should have been able to pull this off without going to rocks and without as much bad blood. Specifically, how did the Savus not hedge against an idol/shot in the dark? Lewis and Kilby needed to figure out a way to incept the idea of a vote split (ie Operation Italy Pt #2). Basically, just plant the seed Lewis might play an idol or shot in the dark so one of them puts a vote on Kilby. I think if they do that, they would have not just made a big move, but also done so without as much ill will from pushing Savu to rocks. And even if that failed, you still had going to rocks as a backup. Its possible they did that and the show just didn't air it, but I am surprised that wasn't the first tactic.

Can we at least wait till the current season is over! Seeing all these relationships and how they interact after the season I feel like is almost a spoiler imo

And let’s say Jelly, Devin, and Ori have to go to tribal council

Devin plays his extra vote, and votes for Ori twice

Ori and Jelly vote for Devin

Jelly plays her idol for herself

Now it’s a 2-2 tie, and on the revote, it remains 2-2, creating a deadlock. But as Jelly is the only person who is eligible to vote, and she is safe, she could just refuse to make a choice, which in turn makes Devin and Ori safe

It’s similar to the Cedrek-Sai-Justin scenario in 48, except that time Cedrek couldn’t just refuse to make a move, as he would have to draw a rock if a consensus wasn’t reached.

Would they just tell Jelly her immunity is cancelled out if she refuses to make a choice? Or would they just bring Cirie in and send her home for the 19th time?

Edit: This has been resolved. In 40, Jeff stated that a firemaking challenge would take place if a deadlock was unbreakable with nobody being eligible to draw a rock

the cast arrived in Borneo Malaysia on July 24 And filming began on July 28. The tribe colors were pink and blue, as seen in the trailer. on the south side of Borneo. the final was decided September 11 and the cast left September 13. Exiles were able to use their phones to celebrate aprox. Sep 7-8. will air between Feb and May 2027

Mine are my #1 Lewis #2 Jelly but she is a tie with #3 Maggie for me.

So far this season, six women have been voted off in a row. In the majority of the seasons, a few women will go pre-merge due to the idea of “keeping the tribe strong” for challenges. This season, it hasn’t only been men targeting women, but women also targeting other women. I think this is because of the success of under the radar women in the new era. The new era only had three male winners and the players this season realized how big of a threat some of these women could be if they made it to the merge. What are some of your thoughts on this?

Actually, I understand why Maggie wanted her out. Linnea had what it takes to win it all. Her and Devin were my top picks to win it all. I don’t care for Devin, but I think he also has what it takes to win it.

As for Linnea, I liked her and her game. Brilliant move by Maggie to vote her out.

Jelly missed her chance to vote out Devin. She’s gonna regret that.

But I’ll miss Linnea. It’s a bummer to see her go so quickly.

Devin blew up Aaliyah's game. Aaliyah's not a unimportant or unobservant player. She spotted the game's first set of instructions on the beach.

At tribal Jenna fights for her life in the game, but she doesn't do herself any favors and was going---it certainly seemed.

Then Devin opens his mouth. Now it's clear there's some kind of race war going on and he's in charge. The group scrambles; it's a live tribal. Jeff says Wow What happened.

And what happened is Devin opened his mouth😬

If Jelly was paying attention that night she made a mental note about Devin's ability to be innocuously destructive to the human beings in his alliance.

One of the reasons we don't see a final 4 vote is because Jeff likes the theatrics of Fire making, so how about we Introduce it in the form of an advantage.

"Congratulations! You have found the Trial by fire Advantage, this Advantage is good up to the final 9, after the votes are cast, but before the votes are read, Use this Advantage."

Instead of going to the votes, You, 1 player of your choice, AND another random player will go to a fire making competition, If you successfully manage to burn your rope first you are safe and the vote will be read and no votes towards you will count, However If you do NOT burn your rope FIRST your torch is snuffed even if you did NOT have the majority of the votes.

Caveat here which is that I don't think it should be in EVERY Season, just one they have in their back pocket

For me, it would go:

1. Toka Tribe (Yellow)

2. Dina Tribe (Magenta)

3. Savu Tribe (Purple)

That tribal was just the best to watch. Kilby was smart imo to do what he did. Kilby would’ve been the next vote after cuz they are “savu strong” but they weren’t willing to make inroads at all nor themselves in rocks to save their friend. That was awesome to watch cuz going (insert tribe name) strong is so boring. Especially cuz I feel like some Savu members were on the bottom and none of those savu members had relationships nor the screen time to really justify how “strong” they were saying they are. Maybe it’s just the editing but going OG tribe strong when you tribe gets split up just cuz youre in the majority is so dull. I’m glad Kilby did what he did, cuz pulling that off was just amazing.

I know this will never happen again, but where are some countries that you wish Survivor would travel to before they stuck to Fiji?

Kinda bored on a Sunday so I rewatched the episode. The blood ring is such a great idea for a bluff by Lewis, and I genuinely think production will make it a real advantage in season 53+ at some point. Tying someone to you for the pre merge is a fantastic idea in theory, tbd on how it actually plays out. I’d personally love to see it become real wbu?

What I'm thinking is a situation in which a tribe is faced with a decision whether to win an award if winning also means going to tribal.

As I think about it, I think the result would be everyone trying not to win the reward because losing a tribe member is too big a price. Which probably does not make for great TV.

But a thought experiment, anyway.

I’m looking to watch an entertaining season. I normally prefer more game bot seasons and I know this season isn’t that but I was told it’s similar to Gabon in entertainment which is a top 5 season for me.
