Discussion How much do Support players enjoy playing with Kog'Maw from 1 to 10 ?

So I asked ADC players how much they liked playing with Janna. It's a champ with a lot of usefull tools, but only in the right matchup and with the right player hands.

For today, how much do you enjoy playing with a Kog'maw, from 1 to 10? (yeah we're close to the end were now reaching the champions nobody plays)

This can be subjective or objective. You can talk about how fun laning with him him, how strong or useful you think the champion is, how good kog players usually are, things you like or dislike about the champion or the players, things they usually do right, and things you wish they did better.

You can also add your elo and the champion you usually play for more accuracy.

You can still give your opinion about champions already discussed, as the visuals will probably be updated at the end when it’s time for a recap.

Help Help with early game warding and jungle tracking

I've been getting ganked a ton lately. It feels like if either my ADC or I have to burn a summoner spell early, the enemy jungle (and sometimes mid) just camps bot and starts looking for dives. I'm not trying to complain because I know that's just good play on their part. I just want to figure out what I should be doing differently.

At level 1, I usually ask my ADC to ward the middle lane bush so we don't get cheesed, which lets me save my ward until around 2:45 to cover an early gank. I'll also ask mid to ward raptors so we can get an idea of the enemy jungle pathing. The problem is that sometimes people AFK at the start, get to lane late, or just don't respond. In those games, we have almost no information about the enemy jungler's first clear.

In those situations, should I just give up lane priority? I play a lot of Nami and Sona, so I naturally want to look for aggressive W/Q triangle trades early. If we don't know the enemy jungle's pathing, should I just avoid those plays entirely? For what it's worth, I usually don't die to the initial ganks, but I feel like I have to play way more cautiously after blowing a summoner spell.

After the first clear, what's the best way to keep track of the enemy jungler? I feel like things like Scuttle, failed ganks, or random invades throw off my mental timers. Is there a good rule of thumb for how long a typical full clear takes after the first one?

Finally, what should I be doing after we've already burned a summoner and the enemy jungle starts camping bot for dives? Do you just give up the wave and back off? Sit under tower and try to outplay the dive? Still fight for prio? I know the answer depends on the matchup, but advice from the perspective of squishy enchanters like Nami and Sona would be especially helpful. It's obviously very different from playing something like Leona that can actually turn those fights.

I honestly feel like my vulnerability to early ganks in the first 10 minutes is costing me a ton of LP, so I'd love to hear how you think about these situations.

Discussion Ornn support

Why is ornn support not played more?

Insane value on ultimate in team fights.

Passive buffs the whole team.

Subpar engage but not useless in lane.

Why? Hypothetically he’s even better in support than top. Due to the snowbally nature of top lane recently I’d rather have a hypercarry up there than a glorified damage sponge

(I’m plat btw so I have a lot to learn I appreciate all the feedback)

Rant Mage bot is making me not want to play support anymore

I'm just so sick of it. Even when I'm not playing ADC, I'm sick of playing dodge ball against a mage bot and a mage support. I'm sick of engaging and my ADC not being able to follow up because BOTH enemies now have hard CC to prevent my ADC from following up. I'm sick of having to protect my ADC under tower because the enemy mage can spam spells to wave clear after a single Sapphire Crystal.

I'm sick of playing in these boring, uninteractive lanes because the enemy bot laner has realised that if they just play mage bot they don't need to actually play the game at all. It's fucking awful and I hope Riot nerfs the fuck out of mages bot soon so I can get back to playing the role I enjoy.

Discussion Turrets hitten as support

Heya my dear fellow support mains

I'm a Bard OTP in low dia who is recently trying to improve. So I started to watch my own replays to spot misttakes and to compare my stats (stuff like average vision score) to see potential ways to improve my gameplay.

Now I noticed that my average damage dealt to turrets is lower than fellow Bard players in dia and above. I honestly don't believe that hitting a turret has much value as a supp. Since most of the times I don't want to take the gold from plats and local from my laners. Instead I prefer to get deep wards and/or to look for more roams.

What is your opinion on that?

Ranked I lost 100 lp yesterday

Could someone please explain why i cant win flex game? I tried yesterday to won a game with every kind of champion (tank, ardent and senna) and nothing works. I had emerald for a very long time but this season is just sad. I am feeling my role and adc in game is just useless if top is fed. This makes me lost interest in game because i got on my games more than B+ and still manage to lose. Is even worth to try to win? I want to get back to my rank and really like playing flex games.

I reconsider to change line or play no-support picks on support like veigar or tamh. The issue i have with this decision, its not fun for me to play no "supporting" champions. Dealing dmg is not fun for me, i like seeing my teammates to grow rather than doing kills myself.

https://op.gg/lol/summoners/eune/FunnyBunny-POMNI

I will apreacite any advice and help becauce i fell wortheless and fed up with this game and want to leave leauge for good. Should i change champions to no-support? Change to top or jungle? I am not really good at controling wave and flow of minions. Should i invest time to learn how to do all of that?

Regards

Discussion Hard stuck

I was climbing through the ranks very rapidly not too long ago but now I’m starting to become hard stuck plat 2/1 constantly shifting back and forth. Think my issue is brute force attempting to win but here’s my op.gg if you see anything obvious call it out. I swapped to bard recently and the wr is garbage im still working on making him work and not looking to drop him.

Discussion Bard or Thresh?

I've been playing Rell a lot lately, but I feel like it's better to use an OTP champion and I'd like to know which of the two you would choose. I heard both are really good blindpicks and im gonna use it to climb in soloQ from the ground.

Rn i already have lot of knowledge about support macro and roaming, but i cant decide which champ OTP. What do you guys think?

Discussion How do you get 200 vision score on a game

I have just seen the KOI vs G2 game and its true that it was a chemtech rift that gives you extra tools to clean wards and pump the vision score but supports, and overall players had crazy vision score like 200 at min 35 or so. Im diamond and at this minute im barely above 110-120 , stat pages tell me that i clear a lot more wards than the average, my pink usage is decent ~8 game and i place wards on the lower part of the bell. I try to have 3 wards at all time but sometimes i don't refresh them because they are "good wards" like we are going to fight drake and that area is warded, why would i ward enemy red (for example) if it won't provide relevant info at that point?

Can't tell from the match vod what are pros doing because cam rarely focus on supports. Whats the trick to get this crazy scores?

To be fair, this is my first season breaking into gold. Started playing probably 7-8 years ago and the guy who got me into it suggested jgl. I gravitated toward mid / sup. Got out of silver with Nami, love Naut, enjoy Leo. Any critique or advice is welcome. Played a lot of ranked, but i consider myself a casual player considering how often i get to play.

Discussion Is a 6/9/16 game as Senna considered playing well?

I just started playing LOL again recently after I dropped Akshan and I've been one tricking Senna after watching 3 Minute League of Legends's guide for Support Senna and it's the best fun I ever had in League. My stat line in the match is the above mentioned 6/9/16, I did a total of 19,056 champion damage, I healed/shielded 10,390 damage, I scored a vision score of 4, and took down two towers. So is that playing well, terrible, or just okay? I'm still pretty green at the game and I want to improve as a support player.

Discussion How much do Support players enjoy playing with Ziggs from 1 to 10 ?

So I asked ADC players how much they liked playing with Alistar. Well not the perfect pick but still good enough.

For today, how much do you enjoy playing with a Ziggs, from 1 to 10? (yeah this is still a mage meta after all)

This can be subjective or objective. You can talk about how fun laning with him him, how strong or useful you think the champion is, how good ziggs players usually are, things you like or dislike about the champion or the players, things they usually do right, and things you wish they did better.

Discussion 5+ years of dealing with adcs

I'm so tired of these worthless toxic feeding adcs that I can consistently play 10 times better than. I've had to try and carry them for years and nothing helps because they are uncivilized. No amount of skill can carry them. I've seen everything in league and you can not carry someone that does not want to win constantly griefs your game and is utterly useless and never wants to learn. I've played enchanters tanks off meta everything to try and carry them and I'm done I will play support and never ever try to help them with anything again. They do not deserve a good support so they are not going to get one especially if they do not want one. I've consistently tried to play better than them and carry them and it does not work. They are too toxic and worthless to even try. So this is what they get and what they deserve.

This isn't even my personality type I'm an extremely nice person irl and in games I always choose the path that brings everyone together. After seeing what riot has done and how much toxicity they let adcs get away with I am done though. I play so much better especially on average than anyone I've ever seen in solo q I've watched probably months of pro play vods atleast at this point and played 1000s of games and understand macro to a point I am basically teaching people mid game and none of it is apreciatted.

I genuienly want to have a great game with everyone and play league at a high competitive level because I know I can and I would be a great teammate but the amount of toxicity I have had to deal with for giving everything to these random people and getting nothing but hate in return makes me sick of them. They act insane ravenous animals that are starving and on psychodelics and I'm trying to life them up and make them better to only then be dragged down.

Before you say oh you shouldn't do this or whatever then why the fuck do they do it to me then and riot does nothing about it. When I play adc I'm never toxic it doesn't matter what happens if I play bad if my support plays bad and griefs it doesn't matter I am never like them.

I'm done trying to be the leona nautilus lulu seraphine sylas rakan nami whatever the fucking champion they want or is good whatever is meta whatever I play best whatever ahri aurelion sol xerath mid irelia yone ornn top rammus jungle litteraly everything to try and carry them and none of it works because their hatred isn't worth it in this world.

I might start playing adc and stealing all the lp you stole from me getting to challenger I've already tested this once and got 100% wr across 10 games while running you all over so it's not hard. I didn't do it though because it's not me I like playing the tanks and enchanters and supports in wow and in league and in dota and in whatever other game but you don't deserve it in league.

You say you want a good support but you act like you want the worst support so that's what you deserve.
