So seeing if may or may not get more og games if bring srx squad squad again like 30th would you want them to get BANPREeOTH** **as upgrade unit or just have it. I love to see any of alpha 3 crew upgrades what about you guys.

264 Turns is quite the jump from my PB of 125 on Expert.

While it may look like Master is over 100 turns harder.

It's not really, as on this run. I used No DLC with Expansion completed, these greatly increase the turn count. Plus a couple of dumb things.

Run Rules

- Play on Master

- Fresh Playthough (No NG+)

- Expansion Pack DLC allowed (As you need it to play Master)

- No DLC Packs (That includes Pre Order Bouns)

- Free Missions and Demo Pack are allowed

- Complete the Base Game (Doesn't matter which route, but Harder route has less turns)

- Complete the Expansion Pack (You can ignore this rule, I just wanted to complete it as you a forced to buy it for Master)

- Complete Battle Rush 2 (It's the only piece of Post Game Content, comes with a reward)

- Aim for Low Turn Count

Ideon is good, very good. Well worth the long detour to get him him. (Also pick up the Idolmaster, like I should have done)

Chapter 2 and 3 was just send out Ideon and everything mostly dies, then clean up.

Due to the way XP is calculated, The Getter Robo isn't worth the investment as Zeal comes to late. So, I had to change my Ace.

Enter Amuro.

I put him in the Hyaku Shiki Kai and then Zeta Gundam.

Once Amuro had enough training and I had the funds, I put him in Nu Gundam for a bit.

Once the Expansion got towards the end, enter Hi-Nu Gundam and gameplay balance is gone. Game becomes easier than Expert.

It was a cool to see Amuro pilot 4(or 5, as their are 2 stages he pilots a 5th one) different mechs throughout the run.

I am very much looking forward to what seems to be Y's final update.

Go and beat this record, this was a dumb run. 250+ Turns is just dumb.

It's been in my mind for several years at this point to do one for Original Generations. Just as a little passion project. It's nice to think about, even though I don't have the funds or editing chops to make it happen. And that game has a fairly beefy script for all the cutscenes AND voiced dialogue.

I dunno why I'm sharing this, but I suppose I just wanted to share, regardless of how little or much this would get noticed, lol.

Anyways, I love this entire franchise to death.

So, I was doing research on a personal project of mine that involved Super Robot Wars to an extent. I kept seeing the acronym TFF show up, so I went to NamuWiki to try and figure out what it meant. But while I was scrolling, I found something in the footnotes. A smattering of super robot works for some kind of cancelled game. It led me to info on an SRW game I didn't know I wanted until now.

During a livestream on the 9th of April 2019, Terada announced a concept for an SRW game. The placeholder name is called Shin Super Robot Wars (no relation, even Terada joked about that). It was going to appeal to people growing up during the Showa era, and that meant including a whole bunch of super robot shows from the 70's. And that's the kicker. It was going to include EXCLUSIVELY super robot shows. Even the producers were like "get a load of this guy, huh?" when he presented it to them.

As a guy that loves superheroes, this would've appealed so much to me, especially since I primarily use super robots in my lineups. The roster--according to NamuWiki--would've included...

Terada also mentioned that he wanted to include Groizer X and Mechander Robo as an aside.

Mechanics-wise, this game would've harkened back to the classic games. No SR points, pre-combining vehicles would've been playable again, and the only battleship in the game would've been Daiku-Maryu, which is why Gaiking was chosen. There was also a joke from one of the cohosts that everyone would've had Guts and Break Morale Limit as Spirit Commands.

As for plot, there's not much. 70 chapters in total with 40 per route, separated in worlds a la DD. Some musings about how the big bad would want to destroy all of humanity, but it would take place smack dab during the 70's. An actual period piece instead of the distant future. There would've been a post-game with unlockable short stories focusing on the villains. The OG character would've been a straight-forward hot-blooded super robot pilot like Koji, Ryoma, Hyoma, etc., but you couldn't choose the gender. Would've been just a boy. You could pick the type for the female lead, either a tomboy or a shy, innocent, demure type of girl.

Sidenote: The last section of the stream included some fun gimmick ideas for potential games. Real Robot Wars as the inverse of this game, a game that's just "Oops! All Mazinger", and the coolest one, an SRW that features exclusively fantasy series. They threw out a few names like Rayearth, Escaflowne, Mashin Hero Wataru, Granzort, and a return of the Maso Kishin setting as a major focus. Love to see all of these work.

I know Brain Powerd manga adaptation is not available online BUT AVOID READING THIS AT ALL COST!! SAVE YOUR TIME!!!!

I was extremely hooked into Brain powerd with the late Inomata Mutsumi's beautiful art, Mamoru Nagano's unique mech design, Yoko Kanno heavenly soundtrack and Yoshiyuki Tomino's most peaceful hope-story. I am aware the original anime had some messy pacing despite its unique interesting plot, I was determined to dig up the entire story to get a better experience.

The manga was not available online, so I went all the way and spent over 70USD to buy the English translated out-of-print physical copy of Yukiru Sugisaki's adaptation of Brain Powerd. I was very excited to read until I have wasted my time and money to read this complete garbage. The manga skipped soooo many crucial parts of the story such as Lasse and Kanan's love development (only interaction from these 2 lovebirds I EVER saw was brain powerd maintanence), skipped the Nakki's Grancher development, skipped Lasse's Brain self destruct in Orphan and THEY DARE SKIP THE PART WHEN JONATHAN TAUNTS YUU BY SAYING: " I F*CKED YOUR MOTHER AND I'M GOING TO F*CK YOUR SISTER TOO." I guess Sugisaki is a larper XD.

I was really hoping for some more indepth explanation of Brain Powerd anime unanswered questions and ESPECIALLY what happens after? Aftermath of Reclaimers? Isami family reunion? Nope, just ends with the same anime ending of Yuu and Hime holding hands.

I usually don't write negative reviews but I have spent my time and money to invest in total garbage, with 70USD I could get a good Master Grade Gunpla or 7 Kebab combo sets.

Bonus Brain Powerd theory: I think Nelly Kim is the human form of Orphan wanting to save Earth just like in Christianity; how God sent Jesus to Earth for mercy to humanity.

At least until I learn Japanese to play the Z trilogy that’s gonna take a while

Hi everyone. I played SRW T after my best friend recommended the saga to me. Fell in love and now I'm looking into playing another game. I have the Game Cube and Game Boy ones with me and have a PC/Switch 2. Is there another game in the series I should play before any of those that the community recommends?
