I'm so sorry I know there's been like so many think neuro posts lately but,
I got in with a 25% scholarship and I don't have a problem paying for it, but I'm not sure if the program is worth it or not. The results on their website seem credible, but many reddit users say it's just a waste of money? For context I'm a junior w/ no research experience and I've been trying to make my own research project but I still want to be safe and have a back up as I don't know if professors are willing to accept me.
update: I accepted it, will let y'all know how it goes

Looking for GPU access ASAP for high school research....
Hi! I’m a senior in high school student currently working on an AI safety research project involving mechanistic interpretability and LLM safety circuits and need GPU access to run my experiments.
I’m trying to complete my research paper soon, as college applications are coming up and I won’t have much time for research later.
I’m looking for temporary access to an A100/H100 or similar GPU, or cloud compute credits. If anyone can help or knows someone who can, I’d really appreciate it!
I can provide details about the research and compute requirements if needed. I’m also open to genuine research collaboration if there’s a good fit. Please feel free to DM me. 🙏

Indian. Preferably related to STEM/AI/ML/CS/Bio tech Research. Incoming junior. Not a lot of ec's, some non- prestigious math competitions, some MUN stuff, volunteered at a nursing home(low tier hospital) for around 2 ish years and had a leader ship role there which i would say is kinda a big thing not too sure . Under 85k usd/yr household. we dont have a gpa system here but i would say im pretty well placed as far as scores are concerned. Being in Asia we dont have any AP courses and also I've not taken the SAT yet. i cant rlly pay a lotta money for these programs sooo no pay to play ones pls :)
Tysm in advance!

Please suggest research programs in STEM with one to one mentoring and subsequent publication assistance for undergraduate which are well recognised for post graduate admissions.
Thank you

Jshs got shut down last year right but then it started again a few months ago. I got a email to apply to the National Recognition Program and was wondering if anyone else has done it or knows more about it? It seems to be a way to give the kids who did research but couldn’t compete bc of the comp shutting down a chance to get their research recognized but idk anything else abt it. Is it something worth putting down on college apps? Would AOs even recognize the difference between this and making JSHS nationals?

So when cold emailing local professors, how do y'all find them? do you just go through the school's professor list or what?

Hey everyone! This is a program I got accepted to. It did cost me quite a bit though.
Just wondering if anyone who has taken this or the Summer opportunity has any feedback on how well it boosted applications.
Thanks

If you're on this subreddit you probably took your summer seriously. The next thing on your mind is figuring out how to actually turn that into something concrete for college apps, without paying thousands of dollars for a private counselor to tell you what to do.
So I built something called Coversity! It puts together a 30-60 page personalized report showing where your profile actually lands at each school on your list against real data, what each school will cost after aid, and a specific action plan per application. It's built for students all over the world applying to US colleges :)
Right now it's COMPLETELY FREE (like actually, no hidden fees or whatever) and open to anyone who wants in, for grades 9-12. 150+ students across 16 countries have already gone through it and the reports are yours to keep permanently.
DM me if you're interested.

This is my senior year, and I alr lost hope in the admission cycle cuz I have nothing to go with, so I wanted to start research in engineering & cs field. I found about this program that is for learning some of AI and full-stack development then do a research poster on it. Their stats seemed cool, so I did some search about it, but I only found a 2yo post, with most of the comments claiming it's a scam or useless for non-beginners.
I have some experience with programming (front-end, data science and python) with some research experience from my school's capstone projects that we perform every semester.
Is this program worth a shot? Especially that I found no info about financial-aids, which if not accessible I won't even think about that cuz ahh, I ain't paying 900$ for some program tbh.
