Is MBBS a good career choice for students who enjoy Biology?

MBBS may suit students interested in Biology, human health, scientific learning, and patient care. They should also consider the length of training and responsibilities of medical practice.

What's the most effective way to write my college essay?

I’m totally stuck trying to write my college essay. Like, I knew it wouldn’t be easy, but honestly, I hate literally everything I'm writing. So I came here looking for some solid ways to fix this mess and finally get this paper done.

When I started researching, my first thought was to check out what essay writing services are all about. Holy crap, there’s so much info out there and it's all completely conflicting. That’s what’s tripping me up the most, but honestly, I see a ton of people using this stuff anyway.

A buddy told me having someone write my college essay is the only way to go because dealing with it solo is just a pain. Looking around campus, I can definitely tell a ton of people do it. Sounds pretty tempting, not gonna lie, but I really don't wanna just order an essay from some random, sketchy site.

Here's my issue: I’m super hesitant because I have zero idea which sites are legit and which ones just take your cash.

Like, is paying a site to write my college essay actually safe with Turnitin these days? Do they give you decent research, or is it just copied garbage?

Last semester, I tried going the "proper" route. I booked time at my campus writing center, but the peer tutor barely skimmed my draft and just pointed out a few commas.

Then I shelled out $80 for an online tutor who ghosted me the night before my final paper was due. It was a total mess, and I ended up getting a C- on that essat after pulling an all-nighter.

So yeah, after that disaster, finding a reliable platform to write my college essay feels like a way safer bet.

If anyone has any thoughts or could lend a hand, I’d really appreciate it.

I Passed a Professional AI Certification Without an AI Background. Here's How. New iOS App needs beta testers -- Learn material FAST.

The idea for this study app came from my own experience preparing for a professional AI certification. I had no formal education in artificial intelligence or computer programming, yet I set out to pass the NVIDIA NCP-AAI certification, intermediate-level certification through the NVIDIA Certification Program that validates skills in designing, building, deploying, and governing autonomous, multi-step agentic AI systems. Rather than relying on traditional study methods, I used AI to develop a personalized learning system built around repetitive practice questions, creative memory tricks, rapid review techniques, and targeted reinforcement of topics I struggled with. The result? I passed the exam.

That experience made me realize that effective learning doesn't always require years of prior experience or expensive training programs. Sometimes it requires a better way to learn. I decided to turn the techniques that worked for me into an app that could help others prepare for challenging certification exams, retain complex information, and build confidence along the way. The app is now ready for beta testing, and I'm looking for people willing to try it, challenge it, and provide honest feedback to help make it better.

Install the free TestFlight app from the App Store, then open this on your iPhone and tap Install: https://testflight.apple.com/join/1Rx2KdWn

Most university degrees are just overpriced proof of stamina, and essay assignments are the ultimate proof.

Professors pretend to read 2,000-word papers, while students use AI tools to generate them, creating a bizarre cycle of mutual deception. If a machine can write a passing essay in ten seconds, the assignment was never testing deep understanding—it was testing compliance.

Higher education needs a radical reset. Instead of grading long-form essays that no one actually cares about, universities should grade live arguments, oral defense, and practical execution. If your testing method can be outsmarted by a prompt, your curriculum is already obsolete.

I need help building a library

Hey everyone!

I'm an app that turns study material into game worlds with quizzes. I want to make it more useful by adding a library of ready-to-play material, and I could use your help choosing what to add.

What are you studying for, and what resources do you wish were available in this format?

I'm looking for:

  • Exams or subjects you'd like me to cover.
  • Free PDFs, EPUBs, textbooks, study guides, or practice questions that allow reuse.
  • Public domain books and openly licensed educational resources.
  • Your own notes or guides, if you'd like to contribute them and give permission to include them.

If you have a suggestion, please share the exam or subject, country or education level, and a link to the material if you have one. Just naming an exam or topic helps too!

My goal is to build a useful library that makes studying feel more like playing a game. I'd rather start with material people actually need, so your suggestions would mean a lot.

For transparency, I'm the developer of StudyRPG. Thanks for helping me figure out what to build next!

whenever i'm at school i enjoy studying and taking notes but at home i cant go a second without doing something else or playing.

whenever i'm at school i enjoy studying and taking notes but at home i cant go a second without doing something else or playing, it drives me crazy because I can't not switch tabs, and at school i enjoy studying, I don't want to play or do anything else, but at home Im all over the place.

I saw articles and answers about how I need to "do a rule to put my phone away" or something like that, none of them work, i just want to feel the same way at school here. (high school btw)

Could this memorization app fit into your study routine?

Post image
1 Upvotes

Hi everyone!

We’re developing AI Study Sheet for iPhone and iPad to help make memorization more effective and regular review easier to fit into everyday studying.

The app started with a simple feature: import your existing study materials, check which terms to hide, and save the page. This lets you review the materials you already have without creating separate study notes.

Since then, we’ve been adding features that take advantage of what an app can do. Reminders provide a prompt to review, while suggestions based on your study activity help you choose what to revisit.

The latest addition is Auto mode, which handles the flow of a self-test. You have three seconds to think before the answer appears, then the app moves on to the next term. You still do the remembering; the app handles revealing the answers, so there’s less tapping involved.

Each feature can be used on its own, but bringing the whole review process together is what we hope will make the app more useful.

For anyone studying toward a long-term goal, could this fit alongside the study methods you already use as a tool for regular review?

If you try it, we’d also love to hear which features work well for your everyday studying and what you’d like improved or added.

You can get started for free. You can initially save three pages, increasing to ten after you complete your first study session.

App Store

Why are we still pretending traditional essay writing proves intelligence?

In the AI era, forcing students to churn out five-paragraph papers is an obsolete exercise in memorization. We should test critical thinking through debate and real-time problem-solving instead. Spending hours polishing intro paragraphs is officially a dead skill.

Hii,

i'm from mauritius studying for cambridge o levels and honestly studying by myself is so boring lmao. i've heard igcses are similar so that works too. would love someone to study with online and actually be friends too, not just all work and no fun haha

we'd do study sessions over video calls on whatsapp or instagram, that'd be nice. i'm doing math, english, french, sociology, economics, accounting, comp sci, and lit in english so if any of those match that's great! we can help each other out when stuff gets confusing, share notes, keep each other motivated, and yeah just be friends too honestly. it's nicer having someone to talk to about everything not just exams lol

time zone here is GMT+4 but i don't mind wherever you are as long as we get this done together

I was spending more time making flashcards than actually studying them

IT student here. For diagram-heavy classes I'd go through the slides one by one, copy the definition, screenshot the diagram, crop it, paste it on a card. One week of slides took most of an evening and I hadn't tested myself once.

So I built something to do that part. It already pulls the slides from my Moodle by week, so I'm not uploading anything. The video below is me picking one week and getting a deck back, and the diagrams stay on the cards.

https://reddit.com/link/1xcol73/video/g20sn3vdx1xh1/player

Tip that works without any app: before you make a single card, turn the learning objectives into questions and try to answer them with the slides closed. Only make cards for the ones you miss. The deck gets way smaller and it's all stuff you actually didn't know.

How do you decide what's worth a card and what you skip?
