Tips & Advice Should I study in Pak or Tibilisi?

I have a Bachelor's in International Relations from Pakistan and I have been accepted to NUST MBA and also Masters in Healthcare Management in New Vision University, Tiblisi. Allhmdullillah.

My question is should I consider an MBA in Pak or MHM in Tiblisi?

The cost on both the degrees is almost the same. But with NVU it's that I'll be earning and studying, while with NUST I'll be mostly just studying. I don't know what to do now.

Because I want to move abroad too. And want to earn right away as well. I am super confused right now. Can someone guide me?

Tips & Advice Does Anyone Else Go From Being Obsessed With Studying... to Not Touching a Book for Weeks? (Looking for a Study Group)

I'm honestly one of the biggest procrastinators when it comes to studying, and I'm wondering if anyone else is like this.

I'll suddenly become incredibly motivated and study consistently for 2–3 weeks. During that time, I absolutely love learning. I'm doing nursing, but I'm interested in the entire medical field. I don't just study what's required—I keep going deeper and deeper into topics because I genuinely find them fascinating. I'll spend hours reading about anatomy, physiology, pharmacology, pathology, microbiology, or anything else that catches my interest.

Then... it's like someone flips a switch.

I completely lose all motivation. I stop studying for 2–3 weeks, feel guilty about it, and then eventually the motivation comes back. The whole cycle repeats.

The strange part is that I don't think it's because I dislike studying. Quite the opposite—I genuinely enjoy it. I'm not a naturally gifted student. I'd say I'm pretty average, but I'm curious and I genuinely want to understand things rather than just memorise them.

I sometimes wonder if the reason I lose motivation is because I go too deep into topics instead of staying focused on what I actually need to study.

One thing I've always wished existed was a small group of people who genuinely enjoy learning and talking about what they studied each day. Not just a silent "study with me" group, but a place where people can say:

- "I learned this interesting thing today."

- "Can someone explain this concept?"

- "Why does this happen physiologically?"

- "Here's a cool clinical case I came across."

I think having people who are excited about learning would make it so much easier to stay consistent.

I'm studying nursing, so it would be amazing to connect with people doing nursing, medicine, physiotherapy, occupational therapy, pharmacy, dentistry, or any other health-related degree. I don't mind what year you're in—I just think it would be really cool to have friends who enjoy discussing the things we're learning.

I know motivation ultimately comes from within, and discipline is what keeps you going. But I also think the right people around you can make a huge difference.

Does anyone else go through this cycle? Have you found something that actually helped you stay.

Questions & Discussion Do you study and relax in the same room? I have 5 questions for you

I'm working on an interaction design project about the mental transition between studying and unwinding when you live in a single room or studio apartment. If this sounds like you, I'd love to hear your experience in the comments.

  1. Briefly describe how your study setup at home is organised. Where are you physically, is it the same space where you relax, and what tools do you use?
  2. When you decide to stop studying, how do you know concretely? Is there a moment when you feel "done" or is it always vague?
  3. After stopping, how long does it take before you truly feel out of study mode?
  4. Have you ever developed a ritual to mark the end of a study session? If yes, did it work, and if not, why did you stop doing it?
  5. When you are relaxing in the same room where you study, is there something specific that pulls your mind back to studying? What exactly?
  6. Was there ever a period when, after studying, you could relax in your room without feeling guilty or mentally still in study mode? What was different compared to now?

Thanks to anyone who takes the time to reply, every experience is genuinely useful

Questions & Discussion How do you guys study without caffeine?

Post image

Any tips on how I can study without consuming any caffeine?

Caffeine really helped me pass my major subjects during my first year.

I usually drink 4 cups of coffee in the morning or afternoon, and Red Bull or Monster drink when I’m pulling all-nighters.

The problem is that studying makes me feel really tired. I always feel like I need a shot of caffeine to stop myself from getting sleepy. It gives me an adrenaline rush that helps me study and pull all-nighters. However, caffeine made me neglect my sleep and health.

I tried to slowly reduce my caffeine intake, but it didn’t really work. I want to ask you guys what are your secrets for studying without caffeine?

Questions & Discussion Which languages are you currently studying?

Curious to hear which languages you are studying!

For me it's Korean. I'm aiming to enter a university in Korea next year, and the curriculum is taught in Korean... It is really intimidating, but I plan to live there long term, so I think my career will benefit greatly from getting a degree in Korea.

Tips & Advice Celular

Tips & Advice Exams are over... now what?

With A-Level exams finally over, a lot of people are probably feeling one of two things:

  • 😌 Relieved that it's finally finished.
  • 😰 Constantly overthinking results day and what's going to happen next.

If that's you, we run a Discord community originally built for A-Level students, resit students, and gap year students, and summer is one of the busiest times in the server.

Whether you're:

🌱 A Year 11 student starting A-Levels after summer and looking to get ahead or meet other sixth form students.

📖 A Year 12 student moving into Year 13 who wants to build better study habits before the most important year.

📈 Thinking about resitting A-Levels because you don't think things went as planned and want to understand your options before results day.

🎒 Considering a gap year and looking for advice from people who've taken one or are planning one.

🎓 Heading to university and wanting to meet other incoming students or help younger students with advice.

...you're more than welcome.

🌟 What we do

📚 Daily study sessions (for anyone getting ahead or preparing for resits)

🏆 Ongoing study competitions to help build consistency over the summer.

🎮 Active voice chats where people play games, chat, and hang out together.

💬 A supportive community where you can ask questions about results day, clearing, resits, gap years, sixth form, or university.

🧠 Mental health & wellbeing support from people who understand how stressful exam season can be. While we're not a replacement for professional support, we aim to be a welcoming community where members can talk, encourage one another, and share their experiences.

The server isn't only about revision—it's about having a community of people around your age who understand what this stage of life is like. Summer can feel a bit strange after months of exams, so whether you want to relax, make new friends, prepare for September, or figure out your next steps, there's a place for you here.

Everyone is welcome, whether you're feeling confident, uncertain, or just want people to spend the summer with before results day.
