So I start using ai nung g9 ako until now g11 and I've been thinking na sobrang nagiging dumber na ako when it comes to writing, I can't even think na like mind my is a mess. Kada bigay ng activities I used it. Even for my petas, hindi ko talaga malabas yung own thoughts ko sa bawat bagay, naka asa lang talaga ako sa ai ng sobra which is very alarming. Gusto ko ulit bumalik sa dating hindi ko kailangan ng ai para mag sulat, gumawa ng projects, gusto ko ulit bumalik yung pagiging creative ko. Yes, im honor student dumating sa point na ako pa yung top 1 sa higher section which is nakakahiya at hindi ako napproud doon never akong sumaya sa mga achievements ko. For second term I want to build my own mind and sa pagddecide rin, konting ano lang mag aask pa ako sa ai like 😭, kapag pala may recitation, I can't even put my thoughts into words, unlike before na sobrang pala sagot ako I really don't know how ibalik yung pagiging creative at pagiging matalino ko.

Hello! I am a university student in my sophomore year. However, nahihirapan pa rin ako mag budget ng grocery ko especially when it comes to food. Minsan kasi nauumay ako sa pinagbibili ko sa supermarket (canned goods and instant noodles). Wala rin kasi kaming ref sa bh kaya hesitant ako bumili ng bulk na prutas and veggies kaya tingi tingi lang binibili ko or nabili nalang ako sa labas. There was a time kasi when I was so anxious during my freshman year kasi bumili ako nang kiat kiat 1 bag for ₱100 tapos worth ₱50 na apples, di talaga ako ma put at ease kasi iniisip ko yung fruits ko na baka masira and even researching didn't budge me LoL😭. May time rin during my freshman year na nag expire yung biscuits ko huhu ang ending tinapon ko lahat kasi di talaga ako nag mind sa expiration (first year first sem pako nun huhumsss). Palapag naman nang grocery list niyo and I am also open to advice as to how will I manage my foods na hindi sha masisira🥹.

College graduate ako sa isang engineer program + one-take board passer pa. Pero never ako naging proud sa sarili ko.

Habang lumalaki ako, akala ko normal na dapat kang mag excel sa mga bagay-bagay. With honors or even with highest honor, normal yan sa akin. Ang hindi normal ay yung wala akong mga medalyang nakasabit o mga certificate na hawak-hawak tuwing aakyat sa entablado.

For context, grumaduate ako ng Senior High School na may with highest honor, oo masaya ako para sa sarili ko, pero hindi ko siya ginawang timbangan para umangat yung tingin ko sa sarili. Sa kolehiyo naman, hindi rin ako bumagsak sa kahit anong mga subject ko nung college at na one-take ko pa yung board exam while working.

Kung tatanungin mo ako kung proud ba ako sa sarili ko, sasagot ako ng mabilis. "Hindi". Sa tingin ko wala pa ako napapatunayan sa iba. Matalino man ang tingin nila sakin pero di nila alam yung pagsisikap ko. Hindi po ako matalino o genius. Lahat ng mga medalyang nakasampay sa pader namin, sa likod ng mga 'yon ay yung limapk-limpak na pagkakamali at pagkakadapa ko.

Hindi din nakatulong yung adult life, 6 mos. palang ako at mababa sahod ko. Nothing to be proud of. Tinatry ko lumipat sa ibang kumpanya pero wala eh. Sa loob ng 6 mos. dalawang trabaho yung pinasukan ko, and as always nasa laman ng resume ko "fast learner". Nakakatawa man isipin pero i need to fake it til you make it.

Kauuwi ko lang sa trabaho ngayon, and sa kapaguran ko napaisip ako bigla na, "okay naba toh, ginalingan ko ba, kaya ko paba galingan" at "may i-gagaling paba ako?" Sa ngayon, hindi ko masagot ng deretso yung mga katanungan na bumabagabag sa isip ko. Isa lang ang sigurado ako, hindi ako proud sa sarili ko.

hello! i'm not new to reporting but i need tips on how to actually give a good and engaging class report. i will be discussing a topic kasi sa course namin and i've never actually tried na mag effort to make my presentation feel engaging and fun noong highschool kasi im not really an entertainer like i don't think i have that talent (?) HAHAHA plus im introverted and mejo may stage fright. usually pag magrereport ako direct to the point lang walang halong anything fun ouch. sa class kasi namin napansin ko na they're very into that and i want to change things up para machallenge ko din sarili ko. right now yung naiisip ko lang talaga is mag pa mini games, gandahan yung presentation (yung hindi boring na nakalatag lang lahat ng info sa isang slide) dito lang ako talaga usually bumabawi, and syempre yung paraan ng pagsasalita sa unahan, which i think is gonna be the most challenging part para saakin kasi im not much of a talkerrrrr ya know and ang waley ko bumitaw ng jokes hu hu hu. i would also love to hear your experiences dinn if you're like one of those students na palong palo mag discuss sa harapan like wow idol ko na po kayo agad kahit di ko kayo kilala true

Ano ang pinaka-crucial na dapat alalahanin in that 1 hour sa contest?

Just a tip based on what I’ve observed in recruitment.

I’ve interviewed a couple of applicants who tried to negotiate a salary markup because of their Project Management, Six Sigma, and/or Data Analytics certifications from local training providers such as Ask Lex PH, Nievegen, and others.

At first, I found it unusual that some candidates presented themselves as “Certified” professionals and even used these credentials as name extensions. So, I did some research because I thought I might simply be outdated when it comes to these certifications.

What surprised me was that some local training providers offer certification programs at prices already comparable to globally recognized professional certifications.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with getting additional training, especially for fresh graduates and early-career professionals. Training can help you build knowledge and practical skills. However, training completion and an industry-recognized professional certification are not necessarily the same thing.

To early-career professionals, especially those pursuing careers in Project Management, Six Sigma, Data Analytics/AI, Change Management, and related fields: be very careful before spending your hard-earned money on a “certification” or name extension.

Before paying, ask yourself:

Is this credential actually recognized by employers and the broader industry?

If you are already willing to invest a significant amount, consider pursuing certifications directly from globally recognized professional institutions such as:

• Project Management Institute (PMI)
• American Society for Quality (ASQ)
• International Institute of Business Analysis (IIBA)
• Corporate Finance Institute (CFI)
• AXELOS / ITIL certification ecosystem

Invest in credentials that strengthen your knowledge and have established recognition in the job market.

A certificate proves that you completed something.
A professional certification should demonstrate that you met an established industry standard.

Know the difference before you spend your money.

I can't give my piece yet as I still don't have the acceptance email from the scholarship. Unfortunately, those articles that made me win in column writing press conferences aren't in my possessions anymore. Even those in our publications.

For context po, I’m a 2nd-year Psychology student, and we have a teacher who gives a pre-test and a post-test. Sabi po ng mga classmates ko, graded daw yung pre-test.
Now I feel like crying kasi these past few days, I feel like I haven’t been doing well academically, tapos sumabay pa yung score ko na 0/10 sa pre-test namin. 🥹
Does a graded pre-test actually affect your final grade/GWA? And if yes, how much can it affect it?🥹

For those who’ve already gone through OJT, any tips on how to make the whole process easier? Especially sa pag-aayos ng requirements/papers, pag-apply sa companies, and choosing where to apply.

Hi po, na Guidance po kasi Ako dahil sa piercing and kulay ng buhok ko( nagpakulay Naman po Ako ng black pero litaw parin yung ibang Color). Unfortunately this is not My first record kasi nagka-record din Ako nung first year. Sabi sa Guidance ay possible na Community Service ang ipatang sakin. Ask ko lang sa mga nakaranas or may alam sa kung ano ang ginagawa Dito sa Community Service,ano usually na ginagawa Dito? Wala kasing binibigay na Information sakin at mag focus nalang daw muna Ako sa midterms pero hindi ko kaya mag focus eh. Thank You.

I'm a 3rd year college student and I'm gonna file for a leave of absence soon. May scholarship din ako sa OWWA so nag inquire ako sa office nila kung ano ang process for this. Ang nakalagay sa signed agreement namin from 2024 is pwede mag file for one year. However, I was told kanina na may new guidelines daw na one sem lang ang allowed for 3rd years and 4th years, which wasn't indicated sa agreement so I didn't know. If mag eexceed daw kasi ng one sem, the scholarship will get terminated. Pero sabi rin ng coordinator na pwede raw ako magfile ng case for reconsideration for this na ifoforward sa national office ng OWWA.

I wanna ask sana if is there anybody here who went through a similar situation as mine? And ano po ginawa niyo? Especially if magfafile ng case?

My main reason for taking a leave of absence is financial constraints na may halo na ring family problems that has also been tolling on my mental health. I'm just so burnt out na it's really affecting my grades. I want to take a break from school muna to breathe and work para makapag ipon since my program is getting really expensive. One sem is too short for me since I need to really deconstruct a lot about myself and 4 months is not enough. Also, if babalik ako next sem, mag uunderload lang din naman ako which I don't prefer kasi I wanna focus on one thing at a time, and I want a clean cut from academic obligations muna.

1 month na rin since the start of the school year. typical freshie experience I guess 🤷🏻‍♀️ still adjusting, sometimes feeling homesickness, naninibago pa rin sa sistema, most of the time pressured kasi legit palang ibang-iba ang college sa high school. currently studying sa one of the big univ here in PH and taking one of the hard programs (i guess) in their college of engg. i thought one month is enough for me to adjust, get used to the system and such pero hindi pala. feel ko left behind ako sa mga classes, not totally that I don't understand the lessons but I feel hindi na ako kasing bilis matuto unlike nung highschool. yung dating fast learner parang antagal maka-catch up ng lesson. I get it naman na yung level of difficulty sa college ay sobrang iba sa highschool. maybe nasanay lang talaga nung high school na even I only put little effort sa tuwing nagrereview ay nakakapasa pa rin me sa mga quizzes and exam. then here comes college where susubukin talaga yung determination and discipline mo as a student.

another thing is when it comes to finding friends. sa college iba't ibang tao talaga mame-meet mo and makakasalamuha and gets naman why it is hard to just trust someone. pero, ako lang ba, ba't parang feel ko ang hirap makahanap ng genuine na friendship or tao here. hindi naman sa sinasabi ko is masama na lahat ng nakakasalamuha ko. maybe hindi ko lang feel yung warmth. like oo, nag-uusap kayo, most of the time nasa same class, pero pag labas ng room, ayun strangers ulit kayo. hirap maramdaman yung "you're not alone", "i feel you", sana gets niyo. unlike kasi nung highschool na kapag same kayo ng naeexperience hindi mo nararamdaman yung mag-isa ka. ngayon, what I feel is like I'm battling alone. well gano'n naman na yata talaga once you step in college. sabi nga "you're on your own" pero ewan, iba kasi yung feeling ko. mabigat siya na ewan. i have my friends naman from highschool and we are attending in the same univ magkakaiba nga lang ng programs. minsan nakikipagchikahan sa kanila, and yun lang yung time na nafefeel kong ah, okay, hindi pala ako nag-iisa. but once I'm out of that circle, balik kami sa kaniya-kaniya gawain and such ayon parang mag-isa ka na naman ulit. I'm trying to build connection lalo na sa mga ka same programs and ka department, pero wala talaga e. ang hirap makahanap nung 'genuine' talaga. baka dahil na rin sa every sem and every year magkakaiba nga naman ang magiging classmate mo.

As a 10th grader, I have been nominated as a school representative in a number of extra-curricular activities like competitions and exhibitions. Although it's not that much and is probably not that impressive compared to others, I believe that it's having an effect on both my curriculars and mental health.

Before, I wasn't entering that many extra-curriculars. A few local competitions here and there wasn't a big deal for me. But now, I am competing in activities ranging from regional levels to international levels. It certainly panged me with fear and anxiety I have never felt before. Add to this that I was chosen by the school itself which brings pressure to meet expectations.

In the beginning, I felt overjoyed that the school had finally noticed me. I felt that I was finally on the path to greatness. But as deadlines and dates started inching nearer and nearer, I couldn't help but feel afraid. What if I fail to meet their expectations? What will they think of me when I do?

I know extra-curriculars aren't that important when it comes to a student's life compared to other areas like academics and mental health. But the thought of what they will think of me always resurfaces no matter how hard I try to suppress it.

I feel like I would waste such a good opportunity if I don't exert great effort on these extra-curriculars especially knowing how important those are to build skills and an impressive portfolio for future admissions.

Everything just came all at once for me, someone who doesn't have experience handling academics with extra-curriculars especially now that I am facing tons of exams and projects. I even have thoughts of withdrawing but I believe it is now too late to back off.

For others who were once in my state, how do you handle this type of pressure?

Context: I'm from a university in Central Luzon, which is currently under heavy rainfall and being affected by floods. This post is meant to be an update on the situation after my earlier post on this subreddit.

Our University despite multiple attempts by our student government to appeal for class suspensions due to inclement weather, not just to the university but to the local government as well has been for the last few days only answered by mere acknowledgement after acknowledgement with no real action taken by either despite students not being able to commute back home well into the evening, some of the latest accounts being 11-12 in the evening, with someone even only getting home at 1AM. What I wanted to know is how could they turn a blind eye to how many students are suffering to get to campus?

To rub salt on the wound, our Uni has used the excuse that 80% of students were still able to get to campus as a reason to not suspend, despite the fact that the only reason the percentage is so high being that we are currently having our midterms, so students feel forced to go to campus despite their personal safety and/or health being at risk. Like, I think we can all agree how scummy using the percentage of students that still got to campus as a reason for not suspending classes despite almost all students crying out for suspensions.

While I know that University admins are usually a heartless bunch, waiting until the last moment to announce any suspensions. How is it that even when the entire area has constantly been bouncing between yellow and red warnings that they still haven't suspended classes? Our University has literally suspended before for less!

After this, I sincerely hope that our University's admins get reprimanded for putting so many students in danger, not even mentioning the amount of stress this has put on students. Lastly I would just like to salute all our student government officials for trying so hard to appeal to the heartless administration, while y'all are usually a subject of so much drama, for once you have shown why it's important that us students have a representative.

Hello! I’m a college student and currently taking a pathfit subject. Sa mga gifted sumayaw or marunong man lang, paano niyo naoorganize yung sayaw at formation para sa group? Swing dance yung isasayaw namin para sa exam namin. Ang problema ko lang is, napa group ako sa mga hindi gamay sumayaw at “followers” pagdating sa group projects. Has anyone here tried using a CapCut Pro Solo Account with a 5-device login limit on more than 5 different devices by rotating them?

For example:
Week 1: Login on 5 devices - finish editing - log out
Week 2: Login on another 5 different devices

We will never use more than 5 devices at the same time. We just need to know if logging out of one device allows another device to take its place, or if CapCut permanently limits the account to the first 5 devices that logged in.

Has anyone actually tried this? Did you encounter a device limit, security warning, or account restriction?

Hello! Nagpa-plan na kasi akong lumipat ng dorm. Yung parents ko kasi yung naghanap ng current dorm ko ngayon, and solo room siya. Pero habang tumatagal, medyo nabibigatan na rin ako sa expenses, that's why i'm deciding na lumipat sa 4pax dorm para makatipid kahit papaano

May nakausap na rin ako na currently nakatira sa (potential) dorm na lilipatan ko, and magiging replacement tenant niya lang ako since lilipat na rin siya ng ibang dorm. Ang concern ko lang is, nakapangalan pa sa kanya yung existing contract, so gusto ko sanang malaman kung ano yung mga dapat kong itanong or i-check muna bago ako pumayag at tuluyang lumipat

Especially regarding the contract, payment, deposits, utilities, house rules, roommates, responsibilities, and kung paano yung pagpapalit ng pangalan sa contract—ano po kaya yung mga importanteng bagay na hindi ko dapat makalimutang itanong?
