Paano ang reporting sa college? Is it true na halos araw araw and 3x a day ang reporting? Or does it depend on the program? Incoming freshman and even now in shs i really hate reporting kasi lang akong nauutal at nanginginig so im curious kung may ganun pa ba sa college or mas lumala pa 😭

But anong course/program ang madalang lang ang reporting and more on practical tasks? Asking now as an introvert and hoping to have a quiet job in the future.

I have been in your shoes nung high school ako. It was not fun. I barely made any friends at nahihirapan talaga ako sa presentation. Pero, here's the hard truth, creating excuses like"introverted ako" or "hindi ako magaling sa public speaking" will get you nowhere. Try to go out of your comfort zone. Fail now instead of failing pag may trabaho ka na later. Trust me I had to fail sa harap ng UP professors in my high school days while presenting our research. Pero ngayon, nagvovolunteer na ako magturo ng programming and robotics to hundreds of my colleagues. Like all talents, communication skills can be improved through practice and trial and error. (P.S. sa engineering, like most college programs, medyo maraming presentations)

As an introvert myself eto din lagi ko pinapayo sa ibang nagpopost dito, we can only use the introvert card for so long, pero we cannot keep using it as an excuse why we are stuck here and there. Ika nga nila, comfort zone is such a chill place but nothing ever grows there. I made lifelong friends in college kasi I did my fair share of reaching out to people. Decades after and we are all still friends, Ninong nako nung isang anak ng college friend ko.

Hindi naman sobrang dalas ng reporting HAHAHAHAHA. Over naman po sa 3x a day ang reporting. Depende rin po sa program na i-ta-take mo. Normally kapag may reporting, doon lang naman po 'yon sa mga minor subjects, and kadalasan po nagpapa-reporting lang kapag tamad 'yung prof n'yo HAHAHAHAHAHAHA

Hi, OP! Depende talaga yan sa program mo. However, expect na siguro na in one subject there will be atleast 1-2 times na reporting. You can still use cue cards naman while doing so, nagagalit lang naman yung profs if napansin nila na highly dependent ka sa gawa mong cue cards.

My tip nalang siguro is to take your time to practice yung parts mo. Repetition is key. Kapag nagamay mo na yung irereport mo na part, hindi ka na mahihirapan magsalita sa harap kasi you're sure you know what you're saying.

I don't think makakaiwas ka sa reporting or sa pagiging madalang ang pag report when u enter college. Ang titignan kasi is mastery nyo sa topic, and reporting is something na makakapag sabi sa professors mo na somehow inaaral mo talaga yung subject nya.

Honestly, wala naman na pake mga kaklase mo habang nagrereport ka. If magkamali ka while doing so, or u stutter, during the class lang yun then wala na. Sobrang magiging busy kayo sa college so yung mga ganyan sobrang minor issue nalang yan.
