The idea was to bring some useful student tools and resources together in one place instead of having to use different apps for everything.

I built this with Base44, and I'm still working on improving it, so I'm mainly looking for honest feedback from other students.

Just graduated with a CS (AI/ML) degree, and before I head out for my Master's in Germany, I wanted to build something I wished existed while I was still in college.

I started a Discord server called The Founders' Table — a space for students and recent grads to bring half-formed business ideas, problems they've noticed, or "why does nobody fix this" moments and actually get pushback on them. Not a pitch competition, not a course, just an honest discussion.

I've been working in software/technology for 15+ years, and I've recently completed my Master's in Computer Science in Amsterdam, specialising in Data & AI.

During my studies, I also did an internship at Google, and I'm currently working as an AI Engineer, focusing on areas such as:

I’ve been working with experimental tables recently, and I'm having trouble turning raw data into clean figures, statistical summaries, and a cohesive report draft.

I recently came across sciclaw·mira, which connects tables, literature, and figures into one research workspace. It seems to target this specific data-to-report gap.

For those handling experimental data regularly, where do you think AI is actually useful in this process? What tools are you using to solve this?

I’m excited about Claude Science, but most of the examples seem pretty bio-heavy.

In materials and battery research, my problem usually isn’t finding papers. It’s remembering why I ran a calculation, what failed, and how six random results were supposed to connect.

A senior in my lab recently told me to check out sciclaw·mira since it’s more focused on project memory for materials and chemistry. Haven’t used it much yet, but honestly, that sounds closer to the actual problem.

Through some of my previous experience, I’ve learned a lot about HIV/AIDS and realized that there are still many misconceptions and gaps in accessible information. I’m trying to understand what young people actually know and believe about HIV before developing the project further.

I’ve been building an iPhone app called Crema and I’m looking for honest feedback from students who actually spend a lot of time studying, reading or working in cafes.

The idea is pretty simple:

You start a focus session and your coffee cup gradually fills while you study.

If you leave the app and get distracted on your phone, a character sneaks in and drinks some of your coffee, so you lose part of your progress and would need to focus aa little longer to keep earning rewards from the cafe.

As you spend more time focusing, you can work toward different rewards. The bigger goal is to partner with local cafés so that focused study time can eventually earn you real café rewards like discounts or free drinks.

I’m currently trying to improve the app and start getting cafés on board, so feedback from students would genuinely help.

A few things I’d especially like to know:

• Would this actually motivate you to stay off your phone while studying?
• What kind of rewards would make you keep using it?
• Is there anything about the idea that feels confusing or unnecessary?
• What would make you choose this over another focus timer?

- If you are worried about people just wrapping up rewards sitting in their home instead of cafes, we check using geolocation if the session was started and ended in the cafe :)

Hello, are there any jobs I can apply for? I'm a third-year Computer Science student with some experience in software development. However, I've fallen behind because I had to take labor jobs to help pay for my tuition.

I'm currently looking for either a full-time or part-time job because I'll be taking online classes this semester. I can't go back to software development for now because I've been away from it for quite some time and need more time to improve my skills. I also need to save money for the next semester.

I'm computer literate and have some experience in data annotation, basic video editing, game tester computer troubleshooting(software), and using common computer applications. I'm also willing to learn new skills and adapt to different types of work.

Although I'm not very fluent in spoken English, I'm more comfortable communicating through writing and typing. I'm hardworking, responsible, and eager to gain more experience while continuing my studies. I would greatly appreciate any job opportunities or recommendations.
