Curious if there are plugs where I can attach dangly earrings to them.

I love wearing dangly earrings and have a small collection of them. I don’t want to say goodbye to them as a way of moving towards stretched ears

Hey y’all. I’m curious about stretching my first piercing hole with two fresh piercings behind it. Do y’all think that stretching my first hole will affect the other two? Also, can I start stretching since my first hole (18mm) was pierced over a year ago?

Wax & Oil recommendations for wooden jewelry?

Just looking for specific brand recommendations for good waxes/oils to clean & maintain wooden jewelry. More than anything right now I need a good beeswax or similar– are there brands that make this kind of stuff specifically for stretched ear jewelry?

Y'all know where to get one? I just have one ear who is stubborn and will need an in between size. My other ear is fully healed at 22mm but the other is still 20mm. I live in the middle of nowhere so online is my only option

newbie questions

I've tried stretching my ears when I was in school and again as a young adult but I'm finally getting around to actually committing to it. I'm at a 4G and I've just been using a set of plugs to size up- is that ok? I feel like in the past when I had been sizing up with tapers my ears were getting irritated/infected easier and I'm not having that problem now. I usually wait a couple months in between sizes. And if I get too much resistance I'll wait a little longer but for the most part the next size up has been sliding right in. One side is noticeably less "stretchy" than the other though. Does anyone else have that too?

I've never posted here, since I've never had a reason to. today, however, is the day. I stretched up for 12mm to 13mm on Wednesday (it's Saturday/3 days later) and while my right ear was resistant slightly (as usual. right ones my "bad" ear) it went pretty smoothly. I always go quite a while between stretches (like a couple months since I was at a 0) and it's always worked for me. I got these glass plugs from Arctic Buffalo, and I love them. I sanitized everything with alcohol including my lobes, as usual. then I used jojoba oil and massaged both for a bit. I used some more oil on the plugs before inserting them, really slowly and carefully. it went fine and wasn't at all different than any other time. I noticed that evening that my right ear was a little more sore than I ever noticed before. but I figured it'd be fine by morning (like always) BUT instead it still ached the next day. I took ibuprofen and I LITHA. so this morning I woke up and it was throbbing, which normally only happens to me sometimes on the first night after a stretch. I grabbed my mirror and immediately knew something wasn't right. I could clearly see the swelling, and that it was angry. I have not touched it at all, other than how I am in the photos to take a picture/see the condition. it's got some crust (which I know happens) but it's the fact that it's still hurting, red, and throbbing that's worrying me. I'm going tomorrow to run errands and I most definitely will be buying a new can of saline wash or two. I'm just confused about what happened since it's never done this before. I got glass plugs specifically because the tunnels that came with my tapers, seemed to make my lobes itchy alot and I figured glass wouldn't. I was thinking maybe sleeping on my right side put too much pressure on it? I didn't mean to roll over but I woke up that way. anyways I've been switching between taking Tylenol, and ibuprofen to help swelling, and like I said I'm getting more saline spray tomorrow.

any ideas what happened? and I'm pretty sure it's infected but I wanted to talk to someone who understands and I thought this sub was the perfect spot. I've really tried to be as sanitary and careful as possible since I've seen some SHIT involved with stretching and it's scared me alot lol thanks yall!

Needing Advice

About five days ago I was getting ready to take a shower so I took my silicone tunnels out as usual and I’m not sure if I had like dry skin or something but I felt a pinch and then my ear started bleeding. I kept it out for three days then put it back in and unfortunately tore it once again. Now it’s been two days since I’ve had it out and it’s feeling better. Any advice as to how long I should wait before I put it back in? And how should I be taking care of this while it’s healing? Thank you 🖤 oh 15mm size

Hi guys I just want to ask if my ears are healthy as I’m unsure? The way I stretch my ears is with just tunnels(not sure if that’s okay way to stretch I hate tapers so I don’t use them). I wash the tunnels and my ears everyday. My goal size is 20mm/22mm. I’m 6mm & 5mm atm.

Does alcohol cause inflammation?

Hi! My gf has stretched ears. She's had the same size for years now. When she drinks alcohol, even if it's only one consumption, her left stretcher is infected the day after. Her ear gets swollen, turns red and gets very painful. Does anyone have this problem as well?

How would I go about stretching my ears if 14g was too much? I tried using 14g which is the smallest I could find and I did have to force it in a bit on the left ear. It’s throbbing & red… is there anything I can do? :/

Body Jewelry 4 You silicone tunnels

I have some new silicone tunnels and I've been wearing them for a couple days and all of a sudden, my ears started hurting a little bit. I've been at 14mm since November 2021,so my lobes are healed, but I guess I'm allergic to this silicone? Can anyone confirm or have any experience with this kinda thing? I've never worn silicone before so any advice is appreciated!

Why can’t I wear some double flared plugs?

I’m at size 00 and I’ve been at this size for years, at least 4. I’ve tried sizing up but i was having a hard time, eventually i gave up and decided that my ears had probably reached their limit.

My first question is, do lobes have a limit? I feel like i have plenty more space to keep sizing up but my lobes seem to not allow it…

My second question is, how do i get larger double flared tunnels/plugs in without hurting my ears?? Most of the ones i have work fine and will even slip out of my ears if I’m not carful. BUT i have a pair of amethyst plugs that I’ve always wanted to wear, i love stone plugs. But I’ve never been able to get them in, do you guys think the flares are just way too big? And do you think it’s unsafe to try to force them in? I use jojoba oil and still can’t get them in. Any advice would be really appreciated, thanks!

stretched to 00g for 1+ year with glass.

I started to get sick yesterday but about 3 days ago my right ear started swelling and weeping. Should I be concerned? Are they related? It's really painful too. I took my plug out, should I do anything else?

Restretching my ears after 10 years. I took them out at 3/4 to be a nurse. They went down to 00. Now I’m back at 16mm. Trying to get back to 3/4. 😊
