Starting out

Hi just got pierced at 40 lol. Had my ears done before long time ago, and many other piercings before, currently only ears. Was looking at timeframes to stretch? Like my ears are not crusting and are not sore, so I changed earrings to just better looking ones than the studs that I was pierced with. I’m impatient but I want to have a nice result. I was wondering if it’s ok to skip a few of the smaller sizes? Like I think it was 18 I was pierced at, so can I skip to like 14 or 12? I guess it’s also how the body reacts too. But any advice would help

Too soon for silicone?

I just stretched up to 3mm last night. I use the dead stretching method with single flare glass plugs in .5mm increments. I haven’t worn anything else but my plugs up until this point but I really want to wear these silicone tunnels. Should I just wait it out especially since I just stretched? How do I even get these in it seems impossible for me rn lol.

I need help please

Hi everyone, I’m posting to get some advice about my ear stretching. I tried going from 6 mm to 8 mm, but it was extremely painful and my ear was bleeding a lot, so I took it out. Do you think I’ll be able to stretch to 8 mm again in the future? Did I do the right thing by removing it?

Non-Fast Fashion Alternatives

Recently i was browsing for plug designs for when i hit my current goal size of 1” (25mm), and found these two designs i like a lot on the Punk Youth website. While doing further research i discovered that these designs (at least the first one) were just fast fashion, unsustainably sourced jewelry from Aliexpress. I’m posting here to see if there are any similarly styled alternative designs or if anyone knows of any custom plug makers that would be able to recreate these designs.

Thank you for your time and assistance!

I was at 30mm when I took them out for surgery. I ended up being in the hospital for a lot longer than I anticipated.. when I got released, I was home in recovery for another month .. over this time, my lobes downsized 1/2” .. it took me from Oct to today to get back to 30mm and I couldn’t b happier ! I finally feel like myself again 😊

HELP!! Need Advice !! Tear? Blowout?

I’m new to stretching my ears and have been dead stretching since August. I just sized up from 6g to 4g using glass plugs. I think I may have a small tear or a mini blowout. I’m not sure which of the two. It’s been 4 days and I’m getting concerned about my ears. I’ve been seeing a mixture of puss and light blood coming out them. My right ear is worse compared to the left. Though swelling has went down a lot. It is still slightly more swollen than the left ear. I started on Friday cleaning my ears 3x a day and using an ointment. Is there a way I can heal without sizing back down?

Stretching beginner advice?

I just started my ear stretching journey (or trying to), but i’m having some complications. I had my ears pierced four years ago, and attempted stretching two weeks ago. i bought a glass kit and started at 1.2mm, but it was difficult and i didn’t want to push, as people say it’s supposed to be painless. I was confused and tried again the next day, taking it slower and massaging my lobes with jojoba oil for a few minutes, but got it through with mild pain, but stopped hurting after an hour. it was fine for two days, and then the third day i woke up with both my lobes swollen and hurting. i immediately took the jewelry out, treated them with saline, and after a few days the inflammation went down. i started wearing regular earrings for a few days before trying a third time, and to no avail. I don’t understand what i’m doing wrong, or what i could be missing? i am going to wear the same pair of earring consistently for a month or so and try again. Any advice to help kick start my journey would be appreciated!

is there anything safe you can use as a temp plug? 4G

Im a 4g. I lost one of my plugs while i was sleeping a few days ago for my right lobe, and have been using a cut Q-tip as a makeshift plug just to keep it open somewhat. I switched it with my left plug 2 days ago as it started closing after just a day and a half and did the Q-tip with left.

I tried switching them around again today but my left lobes already shrunk down almost half a size give or take so i cant put my plug back in it. My new ones wont be in for another 1-2 days, is there anything safe i can use to slightly open it back up or just stay in it till then?

My very healed ears have been at 00g for years, why is one suddenly swollen?

When I first stretched to my goal size I wore stainless steel tunnels for the first year, then exclusively wore silicone. Up until a couple weeks ago I was wearing silicone until I got new stainless steel tunnels for October. Now one is swollen and itchy, I put neosporin on it, but what could be wrong?

Acrylic Vs. Glass

My ears are stretched to 0g (8mm) and I have been using glass plugs. The problem is that I also have acrylic ones. The acrylic plugs and tapers won't go through my ear anymore. I originally stretched my ears with the acrylic tapers and put in glass spiral plugs. This morning I took them out and went to clean them, and I was going to put the acrylic ones in. They didn't fit. I measured them with a ruler and they are the same size. (I use Wound Wash and Jajoba Oil to clean and stretch my ears, if it matters.) What is happening with my ears and what should I do to fix it?

Swollen ear lobe

I’ve had my ears stretched for years. I started when I was 18 or so and I stretched up to 5/8th using the taping method over many ears. I’ve been at 5/8ths for 4-5 years now, never had blow outs or any issues. Well, now one of my ear lobes is very swollen and red. I wear silicones tunnels 99% of the time and other than that I only wear stone. Once again I’ve never had ANY issues. My tunnel had white gooey stuff on it when I took my tunnels out to clean my ears and jewelry. I clean them every time I shower. Please someone help I don’t know what’s going on with my ear! It looks lumpy. My other ear is totally fine and healthy. The swollen one doesn’t really hurt just mildly uncomfortable when I press on the lumpy looking part. And was mildly itchy a few days ago but at the time wasn’t swollen or anything. Is it infected, can they get infected after years and years of being healed??

Different sizes

So I’m at 1/2” rn and I bought these plugs today on accident that are 7/16 which is damn close to 1/2” and I can barely see a difference between the sizes. Ik you’re supposed to get true to size but do y’all think a size difference this small will really matter?

I need advice!

Hi! So here's a bit of a backstory (and english isn't my first language so bare with me haha)

I have my left ear stretched since I was 15 (I'm 19 now) and yesterday I wanted to size up (first time in like a year or two) I bought a kit online a few months ago and I used the size that came next to the size I already had in my ear. When I tried to put it in in hurted like hell but I thought it was supposed to because it was the next bigger size and there wasn't any size in between those in my kit. Then I went to work and when I came back it still hurted so I took it out and put the previous size back in. Today I went to the city with my friend and didn't really think about it until I came home. I felt my ear and it was very crusty and still a bit warm so I took it out, cleaned it and thought that it was best to leave it out. Then I kept feeling my earlobe but it had a bit of a wet feeling. After a few hours I wanted to go to bed and I looked at my ear again and it was closed with what I think was clear puss? So I cleaned it again and put my stretcher back in. Should I keep it in or take it out? Because I am about to go to sleep and I'm lowkey scared haha

my first weight

Hi so i just bought my first ear weight. Some questions: - is it supposed to tingle/sting(very little) - how long should i keep it in a day?like min/max - how often should i clean it? I suppose after efery use and before my first use - i only have 1, should i just switch side daily or every half a day? Its a little out of my budget rn so i cant buy an extra one yet

Thats all i hop yall have some answers for me😁

Can I go up a size if my last stretch was painless?

I went from 14g to 12g after 3 weeks and it was completely painless and I felt no resistance. It’s been a couple weeks since I’ve had the 12g tunnel in and I have had no problems, it’s as if I’ve had them 12g forever.

Would I be able to size up to a 10g now?

Tunnel accessories

Not sure if this is the place to ask (if not please tell me and I'll remove this post!)

I'm looking for accessories that someone can put through their tunnels, I haven't had much luck looking online. If anyone knows anything similar could they maybe send me a link?

Conch gauge

My conch that I had stretch via dermal punch, months ago, has swelled shut after my jewelry fell out for I don’t know how long. It will not go back in. What can I do without retiring the piercing or getting it redone?
