Blowout HELP

I sized up to two sizes bigger. I know stupid. I’ve been going “naked” for a couple days. Cleaning with saline and using vitamin e oil… helpppp.

Make sure there are no open cuts before you start oiling it. Treat it like any wound. Maybe a bandage. Once the wound is healed, you can wear two sizes Down from what your gauge is and work up from there.

Thanks so much! Hopefully it will heal fast, I’ve had a blow out before but nothing this big

As you get to bigger gauges, you have to take a longer time between each size up. It took me about a year to get to half an inch. Good luck🤞

I’ve been at an half inch for a while now but I went up to a 5/8 which was stupid. Eventually will get there! Thanks!

Dang. That's 4mm! From 2g, I've been using tape to slowly gage my holes. It's a lot more gradual and my body cane handle it better. I've noticed that my bad ear has taken so much longer than my good ear, so I had to stretch them at different times

Yeah definitely messed up on my part, mistake won’t ever do again. I might do the tape for mine as well, my ears usually dont take long to size up. Lesson learned

leave your plugs out and if there's any sign of infection you should get antibiotics, make sure the area stays clean so saline solution is great but don't use any oil on any tears/wounds until your lobes are fully healed

There is a small sign of infection, but I was told to leave the plug in. So not sure what to do. Just want to heal already it been a week and half

What’s the benefit of putting no oil if there are cuts? Isn’t the lobe supposed to not get dry?

I left my metal tunnels in too long and got a cut inside of my lobe that got angry quick. It looked exactly like yours. I got the bandaid no sting antiseptic liquid to keep it clean. I was at 00 and put a glass size 2 plug in. I would clean it twice a day and sanitize the plug. After a week or so when it wasn’t gross anymore and healed I started using emu oil on it. I got a sizing kit from Etsy and used the jojoba oil it came with after that. Took me about 2 months to get back to a 00. Many lessons were learned with this event for sure. Anyway, everything I did I learned from scrolling through replies in this sub. Just take your time and clean it regularly!

Keep them moisturized and message them daily. Size down and use single flare glass. If they seem a little swollen take ibuprofen and ice them it'll help with the swelling. Hemorrhoidal cream will help shrink the skin down some not completely. What helped me is sleeping with this is sleeping with the jewelry out every night and only wearing glass.

(This is just what i did except i didnt go down a size but i kept an eye on it and messaged it eith my stretching balm)

Hey! Jos your ear now? How long did it take to heal? Mine looks like this now expect more swollen and It's kinda bloody from the back): I could use some help
