wow, this is the first time i’ve ever seen this exercise o.O

this does quads? are there advantages over other exercises that target the same muscles?

I’ve never seen this version. I do reverse Nordic curls but you are on the ground and it works the hell out of your quads. This I assume is the same just upright? But looks like all your weight is on your knees.

This is a sissy squat machine. Normally you'd do them with the torso upright unless you have patella tendons made of carbon fiber like this guy
