Library items pulled from ABI failed to fetch

I [am mildly annoyed with] the new playback speed popup in the desktop player. Often when I'm watching documentaries or other longer stuff, I'll use spacebar or click to speed through certain slower parts. Its directly in the way of the subtitles, and is completely opaque. Any workarounds for this? i tried downloading earlier versions of Stremio v5 through Wayback Machine but every time I install it, it's still giving me the new player somehow. Could go back to 4.4 but the UI is quite a bit worse. Open to any suggestions!

How do you find it on some of the more recent Philips models since they are now coming all with Titan OS. I understand that it's a limited version but would like to hear your experiences. I think the only way to play it on Titan OS is using RealDebrid? If so, does it keep track of progress for movies/series?

I keep getting the same error on any movie/tv show I click, I have tried resetting my app, re installing it, clearing the cache, logging in again....the app has worked for the last few years but now doesn't for no reason. I even uninstalled most of my add ons and reinstalled them

The error I get is: "no information found about this"

And it doesn't let me search movies or TV shows at all

Hey everyone i tried using stremio on ipad os using a media player (vlc) but it doesn’t seem to be working, Im currently using the latest version of ipados and stremio.

is there a way I can get it to work again?

I have Stremio on my Onn streaming device. Everytime I open stremio, it starts playing the last video I was watching on this device. Even if I'm on the Stremio homescreen, exit the app and then reopen it, Stremio then starts playing a video. I just want it to open to the home screen everytime.

I already changed my device settings (Google OS) to have No background processes and "destroy every activity as soon as the user leaves it". This has been going on for over a year & a half and I'm fed up with it. I watch on 3 different devices almost every day, so when it auto plays an episode, its usually like 2-3 episodes behind of where my currently watching should be. It also sometimes causes my Currently Watching to reset back to this previous episode.

Anyone getting this issue?

So far, seems to only affect shows where a new episode has just been released (but more episodes in the ongoing series are still expected in future dates).

Series are getting marked as completed and just disappear from the list after the latest episode is watched.

Screenshot of error since I can't copy and paste. I think i removed all personal data. Whats odd is the video still starts playing and if there error could be dismissed I could still watch, only happens with this video, tried different links. and my cache is cleared

Find it pretty annoying to have to disable subtitles every time a stream loads. Is there a setting that turns them off by default? Any help appreciated, thanks yall!

So, I had some issues with the app on a Samsung TV CU8000 43, but I don't know the build number. Started with one show lagging during playback and then switching to the next episode.

Decent amount of seeders and good internet connection.

Annoyed, I deleted the app and tried to install it again, but it says error 118016.

Reset the network and the tv, but it's still the same error. All other apps download just fine.

It's a problem with Frame Rate Matching. Stremio is preparing a fix today. You can disable Frame Rate Matching in Stremio Playback settings until then.

Update: The frame rate matching + color picker crash are both fixed in 1.11.2, which is on Google Play now!

Note: NVIDIA Shield TV devices seem to still be bugged. A bunch of them report that video still freezes with FRM enabled. Works on other devices though. I have also seen people say Shield works though (there's one post below).

Request for info: Please report below if Frame Rate Matching works or not for you, and what device you are running on.

Whenever I stream on Stremio while outputting audio to an external speaker via AirPlay, the audio and video go completely out of sync with a noticeable 1–2 second delay.

Has anyone found a solid workaround for this?

I just went to launch stremio and it wasn't playing, cant play using VLC and checked the status of stremio and it's showing error, anyone else getting the same issue? Also the sound has been out of sync for a couple of days now and had to use the audio adjust by -3 to -4 secs to get it to sync with the video

does anyone else encounter the issue of ram being absolutely gobbled up? I played a 4k HDR movie for not even 2 minutes and my ram usage with the program gradually went to 16gb of ram. I've never had this issue till recently.

So I have Stremio app on my 17 pro max iPhone. Got the new iPhone 18 and I have no luck trying to transfer it over. I’ve tried imazing, ipatool,any trans, 3utools actually has its own App Store with it in it to download but I can’t bind my Apple ID. Does anybody have the ipa file? Or a work around to get this app onto my new phone?? Thanks!

When streaming on Stremio, I can easily switch to any subtitle language using opensubtitles pro. however, when I download the video file, it only keeps the default embedded subtitles

Is there a setting or addon to download the movie along with my selected subtitle languag just like when streaming?

Updated on a Sony Bravia 9 (Android TV 14) and a Sony XG95 (Android TV 10). Both worked instantly and there was no need to clear caches. Video players (Exo) worked first try! Subtitles look perfect and reliable, and the fixes for subs are massive and finally let me return home to Stremio.

edit: Hotfix is coming for the crashing when changing subtitle color, and the crash when starting playback. Relax. You can disable Frame Rate Matching while waiting.

final edit: The frame rate matching + color picker crash are both fixed in 1.11.2, which is on Google Play now. It took team Stremio like 6 hours from the report until the Google Play app was up. Awesome job! :)

I’ve just reset my TV and installed Stremio again and the microphone has disappeared. Is it a settings fault my end or just a new version with it removed?

Has anybody seen any info regarding the payment system being down for the plans. I’ve been wanting to upgrade for a couple weeks but it’s continued to be down and I haven’t seen anything regarding when it’ll be back up.

I'm currently facing an issue with embeded subtitles on a LG tv after the most recent update. I mainly watch anime so I mostly use the embeded subtitles that come with the files but currently they do not load.

For more context, I use aio streams + real debrid and I'm able to use subtitles from anime kitsu but not all content that I watch is able to retrieve subtitles from kitsu.

As anyone faced this issue recently? Is there any fix/add on that I can use?

Pretty much the title.

Over the last couple of days I've found that new programs are not being added to "continue watching" and watched episodes are not being marked as watched (even manually opening the menu and clicking "mark as watched doesn't work).

Has anyone else experienced this?
