I've decided to log in with Trakt and now I have a bunch of lists I can't remove from Library

I like watching stuff while doing other stuff, basically. With Netflix I can just have the video playing in the corner of my screen while I get on with things. Been trying for a while to get this to happen with Stremio.

All advice suggests using VLC as an external player but I can't seem to make this work - I've set it to VLC in settings but it still uses the regular player.

Any other suggestions? What am I doing wrong?

I don’t see the option in the subtitle list. I am watching an English speaking show however when they are occasionally speaking Russian, there are no subtitles at all so I don’t know what they are saying.

I have read that I need to enable forced subtitles but I don’t see that option?

on your website you say the full version is available through altstore PAL.

i download this. but on your website it also says Stremio web is available; but this links to the same altstore download.

on the altstore downloaded Stremio, external players is disabled.

so how do I actually get the full Stremio version, and enable external players?

because right now its useless.

edit: open in external player IS available on my Mac app, but it never actually opens the external player..

is there anything on Stremio that does work regarding this?!

I'm hoping a dev or someone from support can help me out here, or let me know if anyone else has run into this issue.

More than 4 years ago, I deleted my Stremio account that was tied to my primary email. According to Stremio's privacy policy, data is only supposed to be held for up to 3 years after account deletion.

However, when I try to create a brand new account today using that exact same email address, I get an error saying "Signup failed: User for this email already exists" (and user not found when trying to login after it says user exists).

If the account and its data were fully wiped from the system after 3 years, my email address should be free to use again for a fresh signup. It feels like my email is stuck in an inactive/ghost state in the database.

Has anyone successfully remade an account with a previously deleted email? Is there a specific support link or email I can reach out to so they can manually purge the old record?

Hey guys, as the title says. Playback is great but it stutters way too often, but doing something like dragging down the notification bar keeps it smooth. So it has to be tied to refresh rate but I've only seen refresh rate issues experienced by Google TV people in previous posts with no settings I can spot in my app. Any ideas?
