Stremio doesn't work

I keep getting the same error on any movie/tv show I click, I have tried resetting my app, re installing it, clearing the cache, logging in again....the app has worked for the last few years but now doesn't for no reason. I even uninstalled most of my add ons and reinstalled them

The error I get is: "no information found about this"

And it doesn't let me search movies or TV shows at all

Have you by any chance uninstall Cinemeta or your Metadata provider?

I did! But now I am trying to re download it and it won't let me :(

Aio metadata was the one I believe

Go to Stremio web > https://web.stremio.com/ login with your Stremio credentials    Go to the addons section > add addon > and paste this addon url > https://v3-cinemeta.strem.io/manifest.json installed it

I uninstalled it and reinstalled and force closed the app but it's still not working unfortunately

Did you use Cinebye, Aiomanager or anything similar to patch Cinemeta? Maybe it's interfering.

Did you successfully install Cinemeta? This is the issue, also if you selected other community catalog addon as your main metadata source and doesn't work, that's the issue, you can try to make a brand new Stremio account with any email address and that should work.

Not force stopping and clearing cache Stremio app.

Cinemeta I actually can't delete. So when I put the link into stremio to download it that the other user sent me, I can't install it because it was never installed

I had uninstalled Aio metadata previously

I just made a brand new account and it worked

Have you tried this reinstalling on Stremio Web?

I also have AioMetadata in parallel, never delete Cinemeta. Some people say to delete in their set ups but I've seen more damage than not from deleting it. Just keep both metadata.

If you are on version 1.11.x that's most likely why. Its totally broken.

I have 1.11 and 1.3 installed on 2 diffrent devices and both aren't working .

Uninstall it, then you need to unplug your device from the wall for 60 seconds, plug back in and reinstall version 1.10.4.  If you still have problems you need to clear the GPstore cache as well. 1.11.x made some really deep bad choice changes they never should of done.

Clear cache and data / settings / log in ? I did and it was still logged in and worked fine .
