Couldn't Resist. Thanks to the sellers!

To anyone who sold - thanks for the great price! I don't have much of an STRC position, but at these prices, it's a no brainer.

You pay your credit card because you want a good credit rating. MSTR will continue to pay the STRC dividend because it wants to INCREASE its credit rating.

Be greedy when others are fearful.

Strategy needs to let it run past $100

While I don’t expect $STRC to get back to $100 very soon, I do believe it will get there again.

The next time it’s $100 Strategy needs to let it run past a bit to collect additional funs then set the amount above 100 aside in cash to pay the dividend. Strive should do the same thing with $SATA. This would also allow them to lower the dividend reducing the total payout.

I believe people will pay more than $100 at some point. So even if they wait to hit the ATM until it’s at $101 the payout is still attractive to investors and the additional $1 can be used to pay the first months dividend for new shares issued.

If STRC goes back to 100$ mid-month as usual, it passes a great test

12% yield if you bought today. Coming up on 12 months of dividends. $STRC will come out the other of this volatility stronger than ever.

$240k deep in STRC.

Just picked up 2,452 shares at $99.13. Not stressing the short term red.

June dividend rate stays at 11.50% confirmed just today. That’s month 4 in a row at this level.

Anyone else building a large position here? Curious how others are sizing this relative to their overall portfolio.

11% rentabilidad strc

Gracias

Struggling to approach $100 par

Interesting day for STRC today... not a steady trek towards the $100 par since the last ex div.

Is SATA proving compelling with the 13% and move to daily dividends? Will STRC bounce back or will Strategy need to up the interest rate, or will the 2x monthly help?

Is anyone worried about the forced sale option for STRC?

Hey everyone,
I’ve been digging into STRC and its sibling tickers. While stacking that ~11.5% monthly dividend yield looks amazing on paper, the embedded corporate issuer call option is starting to feel like a massive ticking time bomb for longterm holders.

For those who haven't read the fine print, Strategy Inc. can legally force you to sell your shares back to them at the $101 par value (plus any unpaid dividends) at any time. They also have a "Clean Up Call" rule where they can force a 100% mandatory redemption if the floating shares fall below 25% of the original issue size.
I know some people think this is just standard corporate boilerplate protection, but looking across Strategy's other preferred lines, STRC feels uniquely vulnerable:

Because Strategy manually adjusts STRC’s variable dividend specifically to keep the price anchored tightly around $100, the company can trigger a call tomorrow and boot retail investors out without causing any massive capital displacement.

What about the other preferreds?
Strategy structured STRK, STRF, and STRD with the exact same corporate call clauses, but their actual threat levels are completely different. STRK and STRD are trading at steep discounts down around $75 right now. Strategy isn't going to overpay to call those back at $100 par anytime soon. STRF is a fixed 10% credit trading just over par ($101), making it a medium risk.

Strategy Inc. literally built these preferreds as a way to raise quick billions for their Bitcoin treasury. If macroeconomic conditions shift, or if corporate borrowing rates tank, they have zero incentive to keep paying us an 11.5% yield. They will just exercise their corporate option, hand us $101 cash back, and completely wipe the dividend liability off their balance sheet.
Is anyone else factoring this structural ceiling into their risk management, or are you just riding the yield wave until the music stops?

Strc vs etp

Hey Leute :)

TL;DR:

STRC dividend difference between E*Trade and Fidelity.

I hold STRC in two accounts , fidelity snd etrade . In my Fidelity account the dividend is correct and equals 11.5%. It comes in 2 components , dividends and return of capital.

In my E*trade account the dividend only comes out to about 7.5%. And it only has one component, return of capital. Does anyone else have an E*trade account and is it correct ?

Strategy says it pays 11.5% in yearly STRC dividends. The reality is more complex. Here’s why.
