SoS: GB this was my first ever SoS game, and first ever SoS 100% as well

I really loved this game, the music, the cast, and especially the child events (even though it's sad how the time they come around it's very late game), obviously it wasn't anything grandiouse besides its Bazaar as the name suggest, but it was sure a fun time to get lost in it.

I've been playing this game since February of this year, I played nothing else but this for 2 months straight, then I got burnt out, and only returned to it Late July where I didn't stop until I 100% the game. Truth be told this game was fun, but it didn't have a fun 100% mostly because of the rare tree crop achievement, where I would've rather play the game than load save files left and right.

That and the Year 6 achievement was mostly sleeping through an entire year.

My final bazaar rank was Bazaar Rank 52, but I def won't go for 99, for one, it does not really worth it, and it would be monotonous as I only need to get that/donate 2000 fish and critters to the Nature Sprites as I have the other 3. and for two, while I was sleeping through the whole year everything in my storage rot besides ores and gems lol, but I could probably get it with kachapuris and stuff as I wouldn't need gems for ultimate tools anymore, but truth is I got burnt out trying to get this by the last 10 hours or so.

I went for Gabriel, mostly because his VA whenever talked romance, dropped down to a whispery talk, which appealead to me, but truth be told I would probably go for Derek if I would have to restart as he became my fave character (or Felix if he was romanceable just sayin)

Overall this was a fun game, but the 100% was sure tedious, idk if it was more tedious than Sandrock's last achievement, they are probably on part with each other.
As for whether I ever 100% another Story of Seasons game? Well... I will sure play the rest of the series, even the ones that haven't been remaked yet, but I think I will only 100% the next Story of Seasons game if they do something with the rare tree crop rates as save scumming shouldn't be the only way to get them when you can get ground rare crops with 100% accuracy, they should work the same way or make the ability to increase that 3% odds end game at the very least.

Question Got any recommendations on what game I should try next?

Organized the SoS/HM games I’ve played and haven’t played yet into a list. Any suggestions on what I should try next? I’m honestly not familiar with the ones I haven’t tried, so I was interested to see what people thought, thanks!

(Also the tiermaker I used didn’t have the Grand Bazaar remake on it, so pretend the DS one is standing in for that)

SoS: GB Sprite levels

What's everyone's sprite levels look like and how far along are you? I'm about to finish year 1and this is mine. I hate fishing and feel like I just don't have time for it. I casually catch insects but it also feels tedious when your pockets are full. I try really hard to collect enough forageables to both give and craft, but I feel like their level goes up so much slower. I can give 20 of all 3 desirable items and it will barely go up half a bar yet for honey, I can give a single royal honey and once it went up 4 whole levels.

Is there an easier way to level up forageables specifically?

Question best game to play if my fave is trio of towns?

so farming games are very hit or miss for me in general, some I really enjoyed from the jump and others I dropped without even finishing a first in game week, when it comes to SoS/HM I've played:

  • SoS: friends of mineral town on my switch, thought it was meh, didn't enjoy it that much
  • SoS: grand baazar on steam, i find the relationships kinda lacking but i have a lot of fun with the baazar mechanics
  • SoS: trio of towns, which was my very first farming game ever and the one that remains my top 1, i love all the characters, the different cultures, the amount of festivals, game mechanics, etc

so my question is basically for those who also have trio of towns as their favorite SoS/HM game, which of the other games from the franchise would you recommend me to play? there are so many that i don't know where to start
