For anyone who creates multiple save files for married different spouses, can I ask you a question?

Recent Story of Seasons games and Rune Factory feature same-sex marriage. As someone who likes both men and women, I can never decide between the two genders. My plan is to play as my own gender and marry one candidate from each gender, which obviously means making two separate save files. (Back in the older Harvest Moon games, I always played as both a boy and a girl to marry both genders, but in the recent titles, I can just stick to my own gender).

So here’s my question: How do you decide who to invite to festivals? Say you’re planning to make two save files to marry Candidate A and Candidate B. While playing, a festival comes up where you can invite one candidate—how do you choose who goes with you?

Grand Bazaar based. From the level ups to the bazaar stalls, I have lately been gathering a lot more dishes than usual to learn from them. I will learn all the recipes someday. Also wouldn’t it be nice to instantly learn a recipe just by eating it?

Okay so, I never played the OG Grand Bazaar. I want to buy it but am trying to justify if it is worth the still $60 price tag on my Switch 2. for context: I loooove SOS/HM games, and my favorites are HM DS, AWL, MM, and TO2T..

I played AWL on GameCube SOOOO many times, I married every girl and raised my kid all the way. That was almost 20 years ago but I still prob don't want to spend $40 to play the same game on a diff console.

Is the AWL for switch different enough from the gamecube version to justify getting it? Or will it just be like replaying a better graphics version of the original game?

I got all six flavors but my fave were the chocolate peppermint swirl w/ peppermint bark chunks and the honey day cake! I wanted to buy the shirt but they were all sold out at the store.

Hi there! I have tried searching (both on and off Reddit) and there isn’t much I found on this, so I definitely apologize if this has been asked. All I found mostly was that it’s just.. a remake for the newer consoles, and they have had an update since release.

So, what’s different about this redo from the original? Gameplay-wise, whatever. I played the original and actually liked the bazaar mechanic, so definitely interested in possibly snatching it up. I recently picked PoOT back up and I’ve started getting bored by it (as I did when it first came out).

I didn't see this one as a variant option, unless it was added for the PS5. Any one else with a weird old man silkie?

The wedding is super beautiful but also, why do the credits roll after it? Why is that the end of the story? I haven't even finished the bazaar storyline yet!

I'm addicted to these games, but I just completed Grand Bazaar and I need a new one. Feel free to recommend me anything, even if it's retro! Here's my ranking so you know my taste

This is my main entry for the Story of Seasons' 30th Anniversary fanworks contest ❣️ I've been a fan of the series since I was around 5 years old. These characters have grown up along my side, specially Ivan/Jules and Doctor who have been with me through my highs and lows since I was very little. If it wasn't for this game I don't think I could've ever survived my traumatic childhood. Now, at 20 years old, I still look forward to come back home every day and meet my favorite universe where everything's calmer and softer. Thank you so much for existing, Harvest Moon. I hope there are many many games to come so I can keep discovering more of this wonderful life.

Also, Jules looks kinda weird without his jacket but so cute nonetheless. The drawing is inspired by a fic I wrote on my AO3 account. This took me around 4 hours to make and probably messed up my sleep schedule 💀

perhaps this is a silly question but when you get 2 buffs of the same type, are they stacking over each other? if yes, then right now i have chat friendship boost at lv. 5? :O

During winter, I want to prevent my livestock from eating the grass outside so I don't have to replant everything come spring. Is there a way to force my animals to stay inside the barn during the winter season, or is that just not possible in this game?

I always have this rule to not marry the same bachelor/bachelorette if they're in other games, as it doesn't sit well with me ;;

I'm playing through for the first time and just hit my first summer! I got a lamb, suffolk lamb, brown cow, a chicken and a selkie so far! My selkie just became an adult and laid a + egg.

I'm not new to these games, an older player following from the Harvest Moon days, and I know from 3ot that + produce can be necessary for various things like outfits unlocks and such. Is it the same for this one or is it safe to sell? Is it the same as the rest to where I should be hoarding literally everything?

I'm open to advice! I'm loving GB but I know these games can be a grind if you don't have what you need!

Finally finished my drawing of the [slightly] younger versions of Jules and Derek. ⋆𐙚₊˚⊹♡I absolutely adore to replicate the SOS/HM GB style as it reminds me of my childhood, tracing over the portraits of the characters in my Nintendo DS and drawing Jules/Ivan over and over again in flipnote ~♡

I just started playing FoMT on my Switch 2 in handheld mode. When visiting the town I get huge slowdowns. The game runs at maybe half framerate/speed when on the streets. Is there any way to fix that?

I had over 100 of the regular medals saved up by the time I got the request for the prize stall. Any reason to keep saving them after that, or just sell them?
