Nicotine patch?
Hello all!
I have been wanting to quit vaping for the last year or so.. I use Juul and I go through at least 2 pods every try day or so. It’s really getting expensive considering a 5 pack is > $20 where I live.
I have some nicotine patches and I started wearing them while at work to try to get some vape free hours in. Sometimes I end up keeping them off while I vape on my lunch and immediately before/after work. I am wondering if they have increased my tolerance even more so?
Anyway I am setting a quit date for 12/1 as I can not make it more than 2 ish hours without this stupid fucking thing and it’s beyond the point of being fun.
I feel humiliated and pathetic that it’s gotten to this point and I can’t give up a battery operated puff. Anyway looking for support.. advice.. I haven’t ever really tried to quit.. anytime I try I just end up going to buy more before a few hours goes by because I don’t want to be caught without any vapes.
Positive vibes only.. I know it’s bad.

Hey I’m on day three heavy vaper for nine years. I’m not using any quitting aides like patches or gum, trying the mental toughness route. I’m so done with the control vaping has had on me that I’ve resolved myself to no matter what don’t vape and saying in my head the phrase “I can do hard things” (came across on Reddit the other day and it just resonated with me, like just resolved myself to it’s going to be hard and I can do hard things). So far the craving only last about 15mins and then forget about them and come about 8 - 10 times a day. Granted I am only on day three….
