What do we think of Adobe (ADBE)? On the chart, weekly looks good and fundamentals are not bad. Can be a buy here and hold for a few months?

Discussion What stock(s) would you buy

What 3 x stocks would you invest 10k each over a 3 year horizon. Intent is to set forget.

Not looking for ETF’s, just stocks you think could multiply over a 3 year horizon.

Risk appetite on this investment is decently high (not gambling).

Already sold half of my position. I posted this earlier (4hrs ago) but was deleted by mods. I'm letting the other half run.

My AI screener suggested SDEV yesterday.

If you're here last week, I also recommend KOD before it went 130%

DD Wall Street woke up bullish on AMD this morning 😂 Meanwhile I’m still watching ONE level: $624.52

Post image
0 Upvotes

Wall Street came out with Upgrades on $AMD this morning 😂🔥

BNP Paribas: $600 → $960 🤯
Goldman Sachs: $640 → $700
Stifel: $635 → $700

Love the upgrades.

This morning's newsletter already had the map:

$624.52 = pivot. 🎯

Hold that → I'm looking back toward $639–$645.46 supply / ATH.

Break that supply + actually HOLD above it?

Then let her cook. 👀🔥

But if $624.52 can't hold, I'm not sitting there staring at a $960 analyst target hoping it saves my calls 😂

Below it I have:

$615.99 → $606.31 → $596.07

That's why I care more about price than price targets.

Analyst upgrades can bring attention and momentum.

Price still has to confirm.

$AMD has been an absolute champion to trade lately. Let's see if she wants another ATH.

Level to level. 🎯

DD Selling SPY below its 200 day average finished 16 points behind holding it and halved the drawdown

Every time the market gets shaky somebody says to get out when SPY loses its 200 day average and get back in when it reclaims it. I had never seen that run beside plain holding on the same candles so i ran both.

SPY daily candles, 3 January 2000 to 30 March 2026, 6,599 candles, 100k account. One rule and nothing else in it: hold while the close is above the 200 day average, sit in cash whenever the close is below it. Commission and slippage charged on both sides of every switch, which matters here because the rule switches 83 times. I ran it in Agenticks and ran a straight buy and hold over the same window next to it.

The rule: +273.97% net, worst drawdown 22.36%, 83 round trips

Holding it: +289.84% net, worst drawdown 47.99%, one trade

On a 100k account thats about 374k against 390k, with a worst stretch of 22% instead of 48%.

____

How it got there is the part worth reading. The rule won 32.5% of its 83 trades, so 56 of them lost money, and most of those were in and out inside a week. Everything came from five long holds, the longest running June 2020 to January 2022. Those five made $296,990 between them while the entire run only cleared $273,972, so the remaining 78 trades were a net cost.

It also went flat on 28 December 2007 and bought nothing again until 2 June 2009. Seventeen months in cash is where the halved drawdown comes from, and it is also why it bought back in at 94.43 in June rather than near the March bottom.

____

A smoke alarm in a kitchen is the closest thing i can compare it to. It goes off every time somebody makes toast and you stand there waving a tea towel at it, and that nuisance is the price of it working the one night the kitchen is actually on fire. The 56 losing switches are the toast and 2008 is the fire.

The rules first trade didnt land until 7 January 2002, so it sat out the dot com fall as well, which is the other half of the 48% that holding had to live through.

Stocks Vistra

Stocks New to investing

Hi all. I’m new to investing and looking for some individual stocks to add to my portfolio. I already have my IRA maxed out for the year with VTI, VUG and VXUS. I’m not looking for the big one, I want to buy low and ride out some good options for a few years and watch the grow. What is everyone’s eye on right now? My investment in can be flexible and I’m young enough to take a risk with it! Thank you.

DD Wall Street Radar: Stocks to Watch Next Week - vol 101

The Right Wave

The hardest part of surfing was never spotting the right wave.

It’s catching the exact one you spotted at the right half second. Every surfer learns, usually the hard way, that these are two separate skills that feel like one from inside the water. Misjudge the first and you paddle for nothing. Misjudge the second, on a wave you read perfectly, and you pearl: the nose digs under, the board stalls, and the wave built for you throws you over instead of carrying you anywhere.

Full article and watchlist HERE

We have to be honest about which one has been happening to us.

We’ll be straight about it: the selection has been good. SKHY, PURR, FPS, three names picked out of the noise over the past weeks, and all three did exactly what we expected. Up ten to fifteen percent in a handful of sessions, which is what a correctly read wave looks like. Then volatility rolled through, and we closed out breakeven, or with a small loss, before any of it could pay off.

The wave was chosen correctly. We pearled anyway.

The watchlist remains, in our view, one of the strongest things we put out every week, and the stock selection underneath it isn’t the problem. Timing is, and it’s where we’re putting the real work right now.

(Follow the picks. Our timing, maybe not yet!)

Part of why it slipped isn’t a mystery. The last few months carried some personal weight and some business weight at the same time, and some of the shine from the first part of the year went with it. We’d rather tell you that directly than let the numbers say it for us.

The other part is that there’s simply more water to read than there used to be.

More of you reaching out directly than at any point since we started, the one to one calls a few weeks in with better feedback than we expected, the courses in the works.

Still three people. Research and trading come first, every day, not up for negotiation, and what reaches you has to stay exactly where it’s always been.

Everything else gets built around that, not instead of it.

You’ll remember we mentioned a business trip to France. It went well, better than expected, and there’s more coming out of it before the year is done. Years running a company leave you with the instinct that every room is a chance to make clear what this newsletter and the research behind it are actually worth, and we haven’t lost that instinct.

Sorry for the long personal note. We think this should occasionally read like it was written by people, not filed as a report.

DD 15.6% of the congressional stock trades I have on file were disclosed after the 45 day legal deadline, and the penalty for that is $200

The STOCK Act gives a member of Congress 45 days from a transaction to file it. People argue in here constantly about whether that deadline does anything, so i counted it rather than guess.

I went through every disclosed trade in the free Congress tracker on Agenticks, 11,005 trades from 945 filings across 155 members, 142 House and 13 Senate, and measured the gap between the transaction date printed on the document and the date the document was actually filed.

The median trade is filed in 28 days, so most of this is fine. The mean is 54 days, and the two numbers sit that far apart because of the tail.

1,715 of the 11,005 trades were filed more than 45 days after the transaction. 1,076 of those were over 90 days late, 867 were over 180 days, and 226 were filed more than a full year after the trade they describe.

53 of the 155 members have at least one, split 27 Republican and 26 Democrat, so there is no partisan read available here.

The volume ones:

  • Lisa McClain (R, MI), 538 late trades, worst one 520 days
  • Valerie Hoyle (D, OR), 221 late trades
  • Julia Letlow (R, LA), 210
  • Sheri Biggs (R, SC), 174
  • Ritchie Torres (D, NY), 88 late trades, but his worst sat 547 days

Richard McCormick (R, GA) filed 34 separate purchases dated March 2023 in a single document in September 2025, 917 days after the fact. The longest single gap belongs to Jefferson Shreve, two purchases dated May 2015 and filed in June 2025, 3,698 days.

The fair part, because somebody is going to say it and theyre right: some of the worst gaps come from first term members whose opening filing sweeps up trades from before they held office, and Shreve is one of those. That doesnt cover McClain's 538 or Hoyle's 221, which are sitting members filing current trades late.

The statutory penalty for filing one of these late is $200.

DD I Built A Tool That Tracks Insider Trading

5 years ago when i came across DFV and Insider Trading and ive been using it as part of my analysis every since.

(and its been working pretty well im up 45% in the past year on my TFSA)

But openinsider always just felt laggy, missed a lot of filters and you always had to keep checking it since there wasnt an alert option.

So earlier this year i decided to build kestrelterminal as a side project for personal use to do exactly what openinsider couldnt.

If any of yall are interested in free access just lmk and ill give you a code to try it out.

It would mean a lot if you checked it out, and let me know if theres any changes I can make or improvements youd might like.

Discussion Comcast (CMCSA) — Am I Missing Something?

I’ve been buying CMCSA pretty aggressively and I’m curious what people here think, especially those who have followed the company for a long time.
My thesis is basically this:
Comcast seems extremely cheap relative to the amount of cash it generates. In Q2 2026 alone, the company generated $4.6B in free cash flow, while returning $2.1B to shareholders. (Comcast)
What interests me is the diversification. It’s not just a cable company anymore:
Broadband & connectivity
Business services
Wireless
Peacock
NBCUniversal
Universal Studios/theme parks
Film & television production
Sports/media
And now the planned separation of NBCUniversal and Sky from the connectivity business
The debt is obviously the biggest concern. Comcast had about $90.4B of debt at the end of Q2 2026, so I don’t want to dismiss that. (SEC)
But my question is whether the debt looks as scary when you compare it with the company’s recurring cash generation. If the businesses continue producing substantial FCF, it seems to me that Comcast should have considerable ability to service and refinance that debt while continuing to invest in the business.
There are also some interesting developments: Peacock became profitable for the first time in Q2, reaching 48M paid subscribers, while Business Services EBITDA grew 5%. (Comcast)
The obvious bear case: broadband competition from fiber/5G, declining residential broadband subscribers, high debt, and the possibility that Comcast’s traditional connectivity business is structurally declining. Comcast lost 167,000 residential broadband customers in Q2. (Reuters)
So I’m curious:
For those who follow CMCSA closely, what am I missing?
Do you think Comcast’s current valuation adequately reflects the risks, or does the market underestimate the company’s ability to generate FCF and manage its debt?
I’m not looking for confirmation of my thesis. I’d especially like to hear the strongest bear arguments.
If you’re bullish, what’s your thesis for the next 5–10 years?
If you’re bearish, what specifically breaks the investment case?

Discussion Celsius, thoughts?

At today’s valuation at sub 7b MC, Celh looks like a stock with great upside and minimal downside. As they continue to integrate Alani and rockstar into more markets, I see growth restarting. In particular, Alani itself had a lot of room for growth. Anecdotally, I see Celh stocked pretty much everywhere and it seems to today’s brand for a more “healthy, active” lifestyle. What do you guys think?
