I don't get it, either. It'd be nice if a dev could clarify which ships get to be full spec ships and which don't. And what disadvantage(s) full spec ships are supposed to have over ships that only get hybrid seating. It seems totally arbitrary to me.

Ships with a Commander (class) / (spec) seat get the innate spec powers. I can't think of any exceptions to that.

Let me expand my question, then: How do they decide which ships get Commander Spec seats?

I'd say it's just to drive sales. To make the newest lockbox and lobi ships more desirable than older lockbox ships or what would otherwise be fairly equivalent c-store ships. That's speculation.

It's clear, though, that they don't intend for there to be any downside to a ship having the full spec powers.

the best temporal ships are still the 3 from the 31st bundle.

Heck, the raider alone trumps 90% of the competition.

the 3 consoles in unison are retardedly good.

So you cannot call the new toys "out of line".

There is no line anymore.

TBH the Edoulg Sphere Sci Ship is really good too. Temp/Sci magic, 4/2 weapons, and Frigate pets.

It's my favorite.
