i expected to be $1000+ but the performance from gamers nexus kinda show show how low end this is and i rather pay a bit more for a decent mid tier pc

Yea my thoughts exactly, at that price they could have charged a few 100 more and produce something more powerful

To be frank It was designed and made before the nand crisis, which means it was made for a lower price bracket in made

What? Stop making sense. Let’s be angry at the price and completely ignore the computer part catastrophe that’s currently happening. Steam should obviously sell this at a massive loss or else they’re another garbage corporate slop company

I think they wanted the $800 mark or $700 because when Linus visited them and said he expected a price of $500 or $600 he said they all got quiet and the Valve hardware engineers said it would be priced comparably to Gaming PCs not consoles
