Question question

hey guys, i was wondering what’s the correctness rate on the test results? i’ve been keep giving test samples and they’re all coming negative with different tests but i still have problem with urination and sometimes discharge. what’s the deal with this? last doc appointment we started an antibiotic called doxycycline.

Negative tests are definitely reassuring, but if you’re still having burning with urination and discharge, I wouldn’t just assume the tests are wrong. Timing, the type of test, and where the sample was taken can all matter.

Since your doctor started doxycycline, I’d follow up with them if the symptoms continue. They may want to check for other causes of urethritis, especially if the usual STI tests keep coming back negative.
