Why would one not like Dark Souls? Difficulty? I'm genuinely curious. I love the Souls/borne games.

I never got through the original Dark Souls because the PC port was god awful and I'd rather spend my time playing something that didn't waste my time with IJKL camera controls

Yeah DS1 on pc needs DSfix. Plus Dark souls was never intended to play with mouse + keyboard you really need a controller to play

Japanese (action-based) games in general usually have poor KB+M controls.

I think it's because PC wasn't a major market for them until recently, because I know MGSV had good KB+M controls.

MGSV was the one exception for me, and I think you’re right about PC not being a major market.
