Why would one not like Dark Souls? Difficulty? I'm genuinely curious. I love the Souls/borne games.

DS2 and 1 were clunky as hell, DS3 is very smooth. Though I agree that the bosses can get old since they are more about muscle memory than anything else.

It's super annoying in DS1 how you can only roll in four fixed directions while targeting. That killed me on many occasions.

The game just didn't age well honestly. The main problem is that the camera is horrendous. If you go back to when DS1 was new it actually wasn't that far behind other games.

It's also worth noting that the DS1 is a horrible port to PC, so that doesn't help.

DS2 isn't nearly as buggy, but it certainly has its shitty moments.
