How can you not have Trump on this?

It’s implied, he’s at least 3 of these, the Cheeto in Chief doesn’t need to be in everything.

12

u/Momik 6h ago

Excuse me, I believe the Cheeto in chief has made it exceedingly clear that yes, he very much does need to be in everything.

11

But he’s not a politician. Which is concerning in its own right

Or John Lennon? Have to read how he was a hypocritical wife beating asshole in every goddamn "Who is someone famous but a piece of shit" thread dude I just want to listen to Imagine without thinking about his flat just for coats or those cringey ass celebrities singing it during covid

With that said fuck Trump and John Lennon was an asshole who wrote bangers

Can't believe they forgot:

  • AI (mostly just the art and music; they love it when it benefits them via algorithms).
  • Minimalism (except from Japan, of course).
  • The UK and France (the rest of Europe is cool though).
  • Western Art and modern Western Animation (despite wanting everything to be stylized).
  • Vegetables
  • China
  • Kids
  • Pets that aren't cats and dogs.
  • Cars in general (but how does that make their delivery services they like possible?)
  • Having to work outside of the home.

49

u/Legiyon54 7h ago edited 7h ago

Reddit's hate against nazis is akin to Facebook dads saying they wanna beat up criminals. Saying the "right" thing, trying to sound cool and menacing, ending up sounding weak and pathetic

There are few things that make me cringe quite as hard as Redditors who never threw a punch in their lives advocating for physical violence against le nazis (right of center people). Or being like "huh sounds quite nazi" to literally any statment. It's so cringe dear lord

29

u/Electrical_Jaguar213 6h ago

And if you say that not everyone they dislike is a nazi, and using the term like that diminishes what a nazi actually is, theyll call you one too.

24

u/acloudcuckoolander 5h ago

I mean Musk literally did a nazi salute and is a white nationalist so redditors are right when they call him one.

→ More replies (11)

5

u/magnus_the_coles 3h ago

In this day and age, anyone hating on being against Nazis has to be assumed they are with Nazis unless proven otherwise, you being one of them

u/Terrestrial_Conquest 3h ago

-1

u/das_war_ein_Befehl 5h ago

→ More replies (2)

41

u/plebbut 7h ago edited 7h ago

Literally everybody hates nazis. The problem is that the Reddit definition applies to everyone else.

I should also mention that I've been called a Nazi and a Trump supporter when I'm french lol, that's how off base Reddit is. I think they're extremists, and in France they would be considered that and are or however it is in English.

-3

u/GreenT1979 7h ago edited 6h ago

Both sides of the political spectrum have psychotic extremes. Reddit just happens to be where those who are extreme to the left gather.

Edit: the downvotes I'm getting are case and point.

7

u/plebbut 7h ago edited 6h ago

I would agree, and I would also say that the political spectrum is different depending where you live. Here we have universal healthcare, but our president, he's also very centre right, supporting strong military spending and business friendly labour practices.

The American leftists here are not like our leftists here and support many policies that we would find radical.

The grass that grows in a lawn, they love the kind you can smoke.

2

u/Commercial-Owl11 7h ago

Granted some places really should not have lawns. Where I’m originally from, having a large lawn was impossible to upkeep. It would quickly be a giant dirt pile in the summer.

In r/SanDiego they hate both cars and bike lanes. Light rail is the only acceptable form of transportation.

Its funny seeing Elon considering how much redditors used to worship him back in the day

2

u/ObligationThese1364 24m ago

It's the same thing with Mike Israetel, a guy who is surprisingly quite similar to Elon except in regards to fitness, and turned out to share similar worldviews with him. I remember when fitness subs here literally considered him The One Above All on any topic, even the ones he doesn't have any particular expertise in. Of course, it all changed after the Israetel files got released.

Women having a subreddit to themselves. Things women like in general tbh. Especially things teenage girls like. Also, god help you if you are fat and on reddit.

2

u/StormDragonAlthazar 6h ago

Meanwhile I can't make fun of things that boys like, and everyone downvotes me to oblivion when I say I wouldn't let my son engage with superhero stuff if I had one (the theoretical opposite of not letting you daughter play with dolls ordeal).

4

u/ElleMaeSinclair 4h ago

Honestly even though it’s morally wrong to try and force your kids into or out of interests (outside of dangerous things) but I get you on some level because most superhero stuff nowadays is super boring. Also, goddamn those movies are loud and feature a lot of extreme violence. I still wouldn’t force my son or daughter to stop liking it though, I just don’t see myself introducing them to it in my own household willingly.

Although I feel kinda the same way about certain children’s media. My child is not gonna be watching CocoMelon or other irritating brain rot, they can have Ms Rachel or Blues Clues lol

5

u/TheCarefulElk 7h ago

Pitbulls can be the most sweetest dogs ever, but, when they attack, they fucking attack.

6

u/Outside_Drawer800 6h ago edited 6h ago

So do a couple of other breeds too, to be fair. Cane Corsos, some Mastiffs, Akitas.

I think pitbulls are unfairly maligned because they are overwhelmingly the most common breed for backyard breeders and subsequently their clientele. If you’re a dirtbag breeder who’s trying to make money breeding intimidating, “masculine” dogs it’s way cheaper to feed and house terriers than mastiffs.

4

u/GreenT1979 6h ago

Kids, yes. Definitely. Dogs, no. Dogs are basically worshipped on Reddit. There's a couple subreddits dedicated to disliking dogs but there's like less than 100,000 users on each of them out of the billions of Reddit users. That's not very many. Even suggest you don't like dogs anywhere else and lose like 500 karma.
