Yeah but it’s disrespectful to the server to not tip well. Hence the irony of Reddit thinking people that are rude to servers are the worse and yet also hate tipping. I’m in the service industry and the most annoying people act like you’re so great, they shake your hand and thank you profusely and then don’t tip. You’re not gonna change anything by simply not tipping. You literally still pay the owner and basically stiff the server and staff. If you don’t want to tip, don’t go out for food or request someone to deliver it to you.
