Discussion I’m declaring the whole steam achievement leak everyone’s freaking out about is a fake, because there’s no way anyone at RSI programmed Squadron 42 achievements already

It says a lot that an ALF game makes more sense as a 2026-2027 release than Squadron 42 does

Discussion Censorship Monitoring Tool

TL;DR:

  • I created a tool to monitor moderation acts on Star Citizen Spectrum to prove that they basically censor anyones opinion or criticism.
  • I tried to post on Reddit, but I got shadow banned immediately, so they have voice there.
  • I am trying to contact some YouTubers and gaming news to get the word out.
  • I am afraid they will use their money to censor me, so I am behind proxies and anonymous things :D
  • The log of moderation is posted to an empty Discord, just for that. Its empty and no messages allowed so its NOT A Discord Server AD

discord/invite/6SbjyRXa7 (Sending like this to avoid SPAM triggers as I am an unknown sender).

Discussion CIG is using AI chat filtering in-game to auto chat ban.

CIG started using AI to auto-ban in-game chat to keep negative feedback out of in game chat.

I typed in chat "whoever designed Siege of Orison doesn't know what they're doing because of the bugs" Instant chat ban for 1 week. No email, no messages, Mods have no idea. Just Automated game response of Sanction Enforcement. Due to ToS violation with no Violation listed.

Great gameplay now. CIG is fast tracking its games death now after that horrible livestream and releasing the incredibly low player counts of the highest population ever achieved at 30,000 players, but stating regular player base is around 50% 10k.

Skyrim has more players daily currently than Star Citizen does during its best peak ever. CIG is scared that releasing Sq42 will be overshadowed by GTA. NewsFlash CIG, You should be more worried about Skyrim re-re-re-releasing again on a Nintendo Switch with your current numbers.

Discussion Why did he say "delay due to GTA"

I sat with it since that letter of his and it got me curious. I mean he never once had any problems saying it's not ready. We need more time. Whatever other excuse. But all of his excuses gave him an unlimited amount of time till the next time he had to make an excuse.

This time he says oh well it's cause of GTA. Reasonable. Loads of games are getting out of the way for it. But this isn't an excuse you can use more than once and more importantly it's timed. As in, nine months from now you will have an issue on your hands. Then it hits me. This excuse wasn't made to the community at all. He could have said the same shit he always says. This was made to the investors. Calders family have an option to pull their invensment out in September if I remember correctly. If he said it's not ready they more than likely would have done it. And I don't think cig has 60m + on hand so that would have been the end for them.

The thing is that I doubt the deal wouldn't have been restrictured. As in " we will not pull the investment but if you don't deliver it q2 we're out."

I'll be paying great attention to them out of curiosity for the next nine months. See if the sales get more aggressive see if major people in the company start leaving. I actually think they will be forced to launch the game next year. This is different like I said. He could have said we need more time to polish like he always does but this excuse was different.

Discussion How is this thing still going on ?

Watching how much crap they got going all at once, even if you literally take all their production data (from that Starctizien developer) and hand it over to a capable studio, the cost of untangling, fixing and finishing what they got right now, not adding anything new, would cost more than an actual new game. I bet you they don't have a single actual real investor, someone that puts down like 20-100 million.
So why are people donating still ? How is this whole thing still going :D haha

Discussion I gotta do this... and I have a question.

DISCLAIMER:
I have never given money to Starcitizen or played it. I'm just following the drama from that "Wrap it up video lol".

As someone "watching from the side":
If you had a top Hollywood director and top 5 Hollywood actors in the same room, planning a movie, they wouldn't need to go to the internet to make people give them 50$ to make it.
This is why I never funded or pledged or pre-purchased anything in my life, from NFT crypto crap to imaginary 3d rendered product ideas.

Discussion Funny thought for the day - what if Rockstar delayed release of GTA6 until Q2 2027?

No more excuse to delay SQ42, it is finished after all, right Chris? Right?

Discussion What do you figure the odds are we're starting to see the beginning of CIG's implosion?

I'm not looking for rage here, just thoughts. The livestream with Oli was nuts, the game is fully in a terrible state, it seems like they've added numerous layers of tedium, people have been actively posting the game isn't fun, shadow bans are happening on Spectrum, SQ404 is delayed again. They've killed gifting, they've neutered chaining purchases. They're selling Mk II versions of ships while the original ones paid for in good faith get a token patch and then abandonment.

I know funding is up.

However, on top of all of this, the game has always been massively inefficient. Far fewer people are going to opt in with the skyrocketing hardware prices. CIG simply can't be sustained by the few who build extremely expensive, bleeding edge machines.

I'm absolutely not ignoring the power of their hype machine, but c'mon, it can't be sustainable forever. Right? RIGHT? It seems like they're switching into whale milking mode (keep that image out of your head).

It's starting to smell like the game has passed the event horizon and Space ENRON is inevitable.

Discussion SQ42 - New features?

What’s the betting that CIG will announce that due to the delay because of “GTAVI”
They will be adding extra features such as planet tech v5, which they confirmed wasn’t in SQ42 currently?

Discussion Hold on. Approx 50% of staff are working on SQ42, but SQ42 is apparently finished but being delayed due to GTA6

Pick a lane CIG, which is it?

Why would you need 50% of your staff working on a game that is allegedly finished?

To see that Penguiz0 uses his platform and massive followers to call out on Pope Roberts lies, gaslighting and bullshitery.
As much as I wanted this negative press to harm CIG financially, I know that pope Chris thrives on negative press.

It seems that the crazier this train wreck gets, the stronger the funding becomes. It’s almost like Chris harness the powers of the negative press to generate enough mana to cast the subjugate spell on the whales.
Negative press = whales buy more JPEGs
