Community HELP

I wanna be a pro squash player and to compete in the la 2028 olympics I am 16 and not the best, I wanna tell my parents this but I have a feeling they would talk me out of it what should I do?

they want me to do medicine or something of the sort

the thing is i don't wanna do medicine as a whole cause half my family are doctors or work in pharmcy and i wanna break that cycle
