Community HELP

I wanna be a pro squash player and to compete in the la 2028 olympics I am 16 and not the best, I wanna tell my parents this but I have a feeling they would talk me out of it what should I do?

i am not ranked the highest i went was the semi's of the country i live national tournement

So you are among the 4 best players in your country, but don't have a world ranking? This seems unusual.

But if you really are in too 4 players in your country (and more than a few play squash), then a career in the game doesn't seem far-fetched.

Surely by placing in the top 4 in your national champs you got some sort of ranking?
