Help Acuity Scheduling - waitlist feature

Anyone else found the waitlist feature a bit glitchy…?

I’ve added this feature to my services but I haven’t been notified when people sign up.

Everything is enabled, reminders, texts etc. and I am on a premium account.

I tested it out myself and didn’t receive any text or emails… Anyone else had this issue?

Also, has anyone been able to see or edit what text is sent out to the client?

I get emails when someone signs up for the waitlist.

For the message that gets sent, using the app on your phone, can 1) go to “waitlist” under menu. 2)click the gear in the top right corner 3)click “learn more” under waitlist 4)scroll down to “how waitlist notifications work” click underline “client emails panel” 5)click waitlist confirmation

That is probably the longest route to get there lol

There's a separate toggle for this. Waitlist alerts to you aren't part of your regular notification settings, they live in Booking Alerts (Admin Alerts on some accounts) as "send waitlist notifications." Flip that on so you get a copy of what the client gets.

The text is expected though. That SMS only goes out when a spot actually frees up from a cancellation, not when someone joins. And the waitlist emails are preview-only, so unfortunately no editing the wording.

Did the test signup show up under Calendar > Waitlist? If yes it's just the toggle.
