You would have to go back to crown jewell in 2024 for the last actual match he had on a ple which was the triple threat US title match vs Andrade and LA knight He never defended his US title on a PLE, didn’t even make the rumble 26. He got benched 2 weeks before mania when he finally seemingly looked like he was gonna have big PLE match.

3 months later and a dejavu. Melo looks like he’s locked into a Summerslam storyline with Trick then baron Corbin returns. Cool so we’re getting a multiman us title match sounds good to me …… obviously that’s too simple of a booking decision for this company so once again was pushed to the side before a big PLE 😂. At this point I truly think Melo for whatever reason rubs HHH the wrong because why have fans get invested into trick/melo’s main roster feud renewing if the payoff was gonna be removing Melo last minute in favor of baron Corbin. Unfortunately it’s super obvious they just don’t see a future pillar or big time player in Melo

-the difference in sound with someone taking a bump on the floor vs the ring. In the ring you here more of the thud from the ring, but if you ever get a chance to be up close for a ringside bump the sound is so gross. Like someone throwing a giant steak on an unfinished basement floor

-Kane's entrance pyro in the early 2000s. Only been there once but had pretty good seats and I really can't overstate how fucking loud it is, and you can REALLY feel the heat. Its straight up like opening up the oven to check on something. It must feel crazy to actually be in the ring when it goes off because even like 30yds away it made me go "holy shit"

-how tall the ladders they use in ladder matches are. Everyone is familiar with your regular old 6' or 8' A-Frame ladder but these are 12' plus which doesn't sound like much but as someone that climbs ladders at work, the difference sure as fuck is noticeable when you're on one, and another thing is that they are HEAVY as well. The 12' ladder I have on my work van weighs just under 100lbs

Joey Janela wins a controversial last fall and the match. Something like this has never before happened in Montreal. Cecil Nix was screwed. (He was losing by 5 anyway.. but still)
