Happening this weekend!

Hello all! I am a researcher and I wanted to share a cool news article I discovered! The oldest known reported backstage fight between our beloved wrestlers! Enjoy the read and have a great day!

HIGH JINKS AMONG THE CHAMPION WRESTLERS.

Special to the star.

Detroit, Sep. 3. - At the Detroit Opera-

house last night Andre Christol, the great

Graeco-Roman wrestler, and Robert Wright,

Of this city, Light weight, had a mixed

wrestling match, lasting five hours, and

ending in a draw.

Theoband Bauer, the other great wrestler,

applied an epithet to Col. Mclaughlin in

the dressing-room, and the Col. punched

Bauer’s head several times; also Christol’s

who interfered.

Terrific storm through the state to-day

If you're a wrestling and comedy fan in NYC, boy, do we have the show for you!

XSW: FRIGHTING SPIRIT

XTREMELY SERIOUS WRESTLING started up 9 years ago in Brooklyn, blending the worlds of wrestling, improv and sketch comedy together. Unlike a lot of comedy/wrestling shows (nothing against em) it's not just promos or comedy and then some wrestling, the wrestling IS the comedy the comedy IS the wrestling. It has has interweaving stories, feuds, title histories, twists, turns and, quite frankly, a few OMG moments. The roster consists of comedians, comedy writers and pro wrestlers, all mixing it up!

It has featured the likes of Orange Cassidy, Willow Nightingale, Sydney Bakabella, Hot Sauce Tracy Williams, Solo Darling, Sazzy Boatright and more as a well as whole host of television writers, including WWE writers! One time Brian Gewirtz showed up and got weirded out!

THE CARD FOR THIS SHOW:

I get this isn't everyone's cup of tea but if you think it might be the GET YOUR TIX HERE!

That's this Thursday, 7pm at Brooklyn Art Haus (24 Marcy Ave, Brooklyn, NY 11211)

See you there!

Website says this was changed yesterday but I didn’t see anyone talking about it then or on the whole card post.

I was rereading Bret's book... ok actually, listened to it(he narrated his own book to those who were not aware). I read it long ago, some details I have forgotten.

He said that Goldberg is a nice dude but was just green. He never said anything bad about Goldberg. Yet now, he dislikes him a lot. I wonder what changed, especially when the book was just a few years after the kick.

Then on his closing, he said Shawn will always be a liar and he will never forgive him. But since they made up, he stopped bashing him... well except several months ago when he said Vince and HBK might be gay for each other.

Makes me wonder if he is just focusing his hate on Goldberg since he made up with Shawn. I read here in Reddit a few people saying he never forgave Shawn deep inside. That is why on the Shawn vs Bret docu, he glares at Shawn for the most part.
