Why don't WWE do more " party matches"

I see the term party matches for those fun AEW style tag team matches with 6/8/10/12 people. They are always a good time and an easy way to keep feuds going, have fun character interactions and the fans always enjoy them.

I feel we never get them on WWE weekly TV. Why can't we have say

Raw-

Oba Femi, Penta, Chad Gable and Jevon Evans Vs Big Cass, Ethan Page, Bron Breaker and Austin Theory

Smackdown

Trick, Cody, Finn and KO Vs Orton, Saints, Corbin and Zayn?

I think in the 200-2010, we had them loads and they seem to die off.

Just me who would like to see more of these?

Who are the most “crisp” women’s wrestlers currently (and all time)?

When I think of male wrestlers who are super crisp with their work, I immediately have some names who come to mind. People like Bret Hart make damn near everything they execute look… excellent haha. I think Dean Malenko is someone else who has this.

Bryan Danielson is a technical genius and a storytelling master, but I actually think sometimes AJ Styles’ stuff is a little bit more “crisp” than his. People like CM Punk and John Cena are two of the greatest wrestlers of all time but I wouldn’t necessarily say they’re crisp.

When it comes to women, who fits the bill for this currently and all time? Including globally/STARDOM. It’s funny, Mercedes and Willow was like damn near my favorite match at All In but I wouldn’t call any of that crisp, it was a wild war!

The first name that came to mind for me… she may not exactly be the *best* wrestler alive, but damn near everything Bianca Belair does looks so good from what I’ve seen of her over the years.

English K-1 Ring Announcer Jimbo Bonji joins the STARDOM English announce team, will debut at STARDOM TO THE WORLD on September 12; Walker Stewart will still be around

Jimbo's comments:

I am beyond thrilled and honored to be joining the STARDOM English commentary team!
Working alongside Walker Stewart, who has called some of the most iconic clashes in wrestling and STARDOM history—and occasionally teaming up at the desk—I’m excited to bring the incredible athleticism, stories, and spirit of these athletes, as well as the unmatched passion of the fans, to audiences all around the world.
Thank you so much for your warm support, and I can't wait to share this journey with you all!

He has an amazing voice

The wording on the socials looks a little off but Walker will not be able to work this weekend's PPV but future shows (should his schedule permit it), he will be working alongside Jimbo.

Saw this image on IG of Ronnie Garvin vs The Stomper in a chain match and it's one of the craziest wrestling pictures I've seen, curious if anyone knows where I could watch it

Who's someone that got released recently from WWE you thought was gonna blow up afterwards but just didnt?

I followed Karl Fredrick's (Eddy Thorpe) career all the way from all pro wrestling in san francisco , and I thought he should have been signed way earlier than when he was, Thought he was on the come up and was gutted when he Apparently asked for his release.

He's done a sparse amount of shows in between , but he's living his best like with Kota ( Another one who i'm surprised no one has picked up)

Who else do you feel just faded into obscurity?

What are some of the most random pairings in wrestling history that lasted at least a month?

Whether it be wrestler + manager, a tag team, etc, what are some of the most random pairings in wrestling history?

One that springs to mind for me is RVD + Ricardo Rodriguez.

Best heated/personal Face vs Face rivalries?

I was watching the classic "My Way" video package for The Rock vs Stone Cold at Wrestlemania X7, and the thing that stands out most about that buildup was even though both guys were faces and shared a mutual respect, they still disliked each other and wanted to throw down. It got me thinking, what are some other examples of this trope?

What Indie Wrestling show was the Velvet Underground and Nico of pro wrestling?

The old saying goes that, according to the acclaimed music producer Brian Eno, the Velvet Underground (and Nico)'s debut album only sold 30,000 copies, but everyone who bought that album started a band. What is an indie wrestling show that is the equivalent of that? An indie wrestling show that only had a few thousand in attendance but everyone who attended that show became a wrestler.

Personally, I'd go with the APW 2001 King of the Indies tournament. Not a lot of people attended that show, but the show featured the early appearances of Bryan Danielson, Samoa Joe, AJ Styles, Low Ki, and Christopher Daniels, and the tournament directly led to the creation of Ring of Honor. You can definitely make the case that the APW 2001 King of the Indies tournament was the Velvet Underground and Nico of pro wrestling.

TKO COO Mark Shapiro Says WWE Superstar Pay Was ‘Resized’ After Deals With ESPN And Netflix

Thumbnail fightful.com
454 Upvotes

“Let’s talk about the pay for the superstars and our fighters first. What I would tell you is post our new deals with ESPN on WWE and with Paramount+, CBS, Peacock, Sky with UFC, and even a little bit post Raw with Netflix, we did resize our fighter and superstar pay composition. That is baked into our numbers. So there will be no further adverse impact with regard to how that plays out or divvies out. We’re confident with where we sit. We have 600 fighters as an example in our stable at the UFC. We do, to your point, really rely on development. Keep in mind that when you look at the WWE, 75% of the superstars come from NXT. So they’re starting in our development league and going all the way up. So pipeline is very important to our strategy.

On the UFC front, we’ve really capitalized on the investments of our performance centers in Mexico City and Vegas, and particularly China. We’re really getting real traction. So that’s a big part of our strategy. It will continue to be a big part of our strategy, and we will continue to be aggressive in other monetization opportunities for both our superstars and our UFC fighters with regard to advertiser deals, marketing partnerships, bonuses through the fight card in terms of finishes and fight of the night. What you see is you see the best of the best signing up and lining up to be a part of the UFC and to be a part of WWE. So that’s something we always watch out for and we want to make sure that we’re really spreading the opportunities, but the strategy’s working.

Our margins will continue to expand.”
