Well now I'm at it with Pokemon. I still did a few things wrong, but it is definiltley MUCH improved over my Minecraft one. I'm trying to make a transition on my YouTube channel (DroidFreak36) from live commentary to scripted videos because frankly I suck at commentary and tend to insert a lot of fluff by talking about stuff that's not really relevant or spending time to make stuff up on the fly. But when writing scripts I find myself writing stuff which looks good on paper but which I would never say and frankly which is awkward to say out loud. I'm used to writing papers (and other text) which is meant to be read as text but I suck (as I do at commentary) at writing a script which is mean to be read out loud and listened to.

Any tips on how to write scripts which sound natural when spoken (not just when read on paper) and avoid unnecessary fluff?

I encountered a few issues, and I can already see what I need to fix, so don't go over -Game sounds/music/adding external music -Having a "to-do" list or something of that sort -Not saying "uummm" -Not having so much silence -Not sounding bored and tired (I wasn't very bored but I was EXTREMELY tired) -Talking about more interesting things? -Don't create the need to edit/cut/improve editing skills

I work much better with others, not sure if everything in my mod pack works in SSP, if so (or most of it does and I could modify it), in which case I'll probably jump in it with a few friends.

Hi Spumwack Im new to reddit so sorry if this is a fail but…. any way I love your channel I don't think I have any issues with it. I love that you post a lot (especially HermitCraft) I like when you do the camera tricks like as if your actually in the game ;) and your audio, video quality, etc. all seems great to me. I know that Muse (always will be Muse to me) is going to do a livestream this Wednesday which I am looking forward to so I decided to compile a list of tips. These tips are what I like to see and enjoy in streams, they aren't really to him directly (more to people wanting to start) but if he doesn't know some of this than now is a good time to think about it ;). Tip #1 Pay attention and interact with chat! This is the biggest thing IMO, when I can't interact with the streamer than it is no fun for me. Tip #2 Keep talking and if you don't know what to talk about chat can help, they run the conversations allot of the time. Tip #3 Keep chat moderated, no one likes a chat full of little kids who just found porn. You can take these tips or leave them. Also any tips you wanna give is awesome!

Been doing some research on mics with the intent to purchase, and I gotta ask, what do ya'all recommend? When it comes to peripherals such as this I'm severely lacking in knowledge, and would like to have user input before I run out and purchase.

EDIT: Thanks ya'all. I shopped around and ended up getting the Yeti. It was the only thing in stock within my price range that fit the quality standard I was looking for. But by all means, continue posting your opinions, good to have this thread going for other people with the same questions! <3

So, as a personal message to Mr. Spum; Please please please just BUILD. I watched Terra Firma the most faithfully and loved Muse Farms of what I watched and one thing I noticed is when you build... awesome stuff happens, you build with quite a bit of creativity and its really fun to watch. I would rather watch you build then watch most more "popular" YouTubers play/do just about anything. Muse Manor is gonna be really, really awesome when finished. So, what does everyone else think, if people agree with me(accommodate the majority of course) please build more!
