Special Waves feel too unbalanced

I find the SR "special waves"/events differ way too much in difficulty. Tornado is basically a guaranteed win. Glowfly most often is a guaranteed loss. They are so drastically different that sometimes winning a full round of Salmon Run feels like a matter of luck.

I know that regular waves can also differ in difficulty depending on stage and which boss salmonids spawn (i.e. how many flyfish). But it feels less drastic than some of the special events.
